Did that actually work?
-
The PS4 had disc issues as well for a lot of people, and from teardowns, it's pretty clear they're using the same OEM/model. Interesting.
-
I'm happy seeing everyone in this thread finally getting their consoles. Or on the way. Close enough
-
Wait, what's this about? I thought Flipkart shipped all their orders by now!
-
Wait, we've all had that status for the last 3 days. What was yours showing?
-
Lol, Pursuit Force was the best thing ever Pretty much. For what it's worth, I spoke to a nice chap on Amazon's executive escalations team and they're apparently looking into it. The thing is Amazon's such a maze, that they'll probably just ship the order before a random team gets through to another random team.
-
You missed the "/s" there
-
This also reminds me of the Series X pre-order situation. Those weren't sent out at once either.
-
This is probably accurate. I don't think they've shipped to anyone in the south from what I can tell, and karooo is probably the only one from Mumbai who got lucky. That said, I have no clue why they didn't just send these out to their regional fulfillment hubs, or even just ship them at once from NCR if that's where they all are. Makes me wonder if they're with Amazon at all, or with a third party logistics company Sony partnered with, and who's drip feeding stock or something.

Thanks, man! I have two external HDDs filled up so I'll make sure everything's updated first.
-
Okay that's good news, thanks man! I was afraid I'd need to re-download separate PS4 Pro versions of all of my base PS4 games
-
Question for anyone moving games from a base PS4 to a new PS5: Did you need to re-download new, PS4 Pro versions of games (GoW, RDR2, Death Stranding, etc.), or do the base PS4 versions only need a smaller patch?
-
I hear ya. I've seen and done the same on other pre-orders. The sad part is they've had years to fix this issue too, but nope.

Perfection
-
Yep, they do this with every pre-order. It's like they actually de-prioritise them
-
Same. Something I've noticed with Amazon is their pre-order shipments arrive slower than if you wait and order on launch day My pre-ordered Sony XM4s arrived two day after launch, whereas I had next day delivery before 11am available to me if I had just waited and ordered on launch day. Their pre-order system is poorly optimized.

I'm seeing a preparing for dispatch status on Amazon as well.

The Home Appliances Thread - Poore ghar ke badal daalo

You can't leave it on 24/7 so the same applies. Dust settles fast, and India is dusty as heck. -

Not with the levels of dust we see here in India and especially not in bigger rooms, at least from my experience. Dust settles on surfaces fast, and you can't leave the purifier on 24/7 to catch everything - or else you'll be burning money on consumables (filters in this case). Look for high CADR and CFM rating models if you want to cover bigger rooms. -

That Yamaha looks good, but it also looks like it's DTS only for some reason. You ideally want DTS and Dolby both. I like the Alexa compatibility on it, though. ARC is useful so you can "passthrough" audio from all devices plugged into your TV though a single cable to the soundbar. However, ARC doesn't support lossless audio and will compress formats such as Atmos and DTS-X. For the best experience, make sure all pieces in your A/V set-up work with each other over the same standard. For example, pairing an eArc capable TV with an eArc Atmos Soundbar will give you uncompressed Atmos. Pairing a HDMI 2.1 TV with a HDMI 2.1 console will get you 4K/120. Mix and match to your needs based on budget and how much you want to future proof. Any reason you aren't looking at standard Samsung or LG? They're decent too, and you may be able to get a demo at Croma or a brand store

Yea, I noticed that in the Sony link. They don't have a cutaway/inside view, so I assumed they might still have a couple of upward firing ones in there.
