Has anyone moved from a base PS4 to the PS5? If so, did you need to re-download entire games, or do the upgrades come via smaller patches? :/

It comes with a 3 year warranty, with two extra years for an additional 25K. They might have bundled the additional warranty in for you for some reason, but 2.1 seems high even with the addon. Hmm.

The Halo games are from a different era. Think pre-reboot God of War in terms of story, so I wouldn't go in expecting anything earth shattering. Plus there's only so much flat, candy colored geometry you can look at. Reach was good, and worked as a standalone game. I would start there.

This can't be stressed enough. If space isn't a concern, I would highly recommend a 65" even if you need to drop down to a QLED or random FALD for budget reasons. A 55" just looks small in comparison.

There are some really good indies in that 2021 list. The Ascent Dead Static Drive The Last Stop Sable Tunic Twelve Minutes The Medium And I have high hopes for CrossfireX since it's Remedy on campaign duty. There are more indies on that list with interesting premises, but I haven't heard/seen anything of. I think this service is ideal if you're into a lot of indie titles, looking for new game experiences, and don't expect every game to be a AAA blockbuster. I'm sure they'll add big-budget third party titles to fill those gaps and balance things out, but you have to remember that over 90% (guesstimate) of releases on Steam in any given year are indie, and AAA games are a very small portion. I love Sony first party as much as the next guy, but I wouldn't really subscribe to a service just for those 2 or 3 blockbuster exclusives a year.

Some 360 games were 1799! Brilliant pricing, but still didn't succeed in expanding the market much. If there was one chance to push gaming into the mainstream, that was it.
