Just came from td of xuv 500. Super awesome car for the price it's gonna eat up a lot of card below and above in it's segment
Booked it yesterday itself, the top end AWD version. even the showroom guys have no idea about the delivery
apparently mahindra has sold around 8500 vehicles in less than 24 hours in just 5 cities. and ppl booking the vehicle today are already on a waiting period of up to 4 months
its gonna eat up the 10+ lakh market. safari, aria and even captiva and t-fort are gonna be f**ked. -

javagal srinath, arguably india's best seamer (and quickest) ever had to sit out in his initial playing days when he was even quicker because a certain overrated all-rounder had a few records to break. varun's USP so far is his pace and nothing else, whats the point in bringing in a few years later when our seam bowlers lose a good couple yards of pace *cough munaf, ishant, zaheer cough*

I liked Kaante too. For its time, 2001-2002 i think? It was pretty good and loved the dialogues and acting by everyone.
and it looks slick even by todays standards. also, kaante single handedly changed the way film/tv soaps are edited in india.... what with all the quick cuts, jump cuts etc etc

So Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara is out on..
Just saw it. Liked it a lot. Story was pretty honest, no pretense or complexities in it. Although the message of the movie is very true and honest, doing it in real life? thats another thing.
But the movie was shot amazingly well. And fantastic acting by everyone. And the music tied into the movie very well. The Akhtar family sure is pot of talent. Zoya akhtar did a great job.
agreed on both counts. nice 'feel good' movie and the humor wasn't forced except a couple scenes. i thought farhan akhar was OTT but i believe his character was written that way, still he didnt fit the role IMO.

varna main IVG ko hack karane ki supari deta hoon kisi ko. in a bad, very bad way. synder shd stick to making comic book adaptations, at least his movies will have some basic plot line to stick too. watching SP is like watch a kojima cutscene for 2 hours non stop

do it. i almost went for the t-fort and was even willing to wait for the long delivery period but the idiot dealers wanted me to buy 2.5 lakh worth of extra accessories if i wanted a car and i was like WTF BC, yeh to blackmail hain. and then the XUV comes along with more features than the captiva/fortuner with at least a 7-8 lakh difference. its a no brainer really
