What would’ve putin even achieved if he backs out now. The sanctions aren’t going away, russia is already cornered, massive hit to his strong man image and that of mother russia. Even winnie the pooh will think twice now before making a move on taiwan or HK.

Agreed. Even if Ukraine was an ally india would have abstained. The whole logic of Ukraine did that so we did this is BS and just IT cell logic. india regularly votes against Israel which is one of our closest allies or is in favour of China even after the recent hostilities ( example being us endorsing the winter olympics.)

I saw on some news that universities did that so that they can have leverage over China and India as most of the students over there are from these countries.

India abstaining is not even the news here. They do it all the time even against much smaller nations let alone going against our biggest arms supplier and an ally nation.
The big news here is UAE abstaining which means it has the blessings of KSA and the rest of Middle East. This is a tectonic shift in geopolitical relationship thanks to the brain-dead foreign policy of the ? sitting inside white house.

Yeah agreed with this. A few years ago I was having some business related problems and my mom took me to a priest in our Village who checked my janampatri and matched it with their yearly astrology book. What he said sent a chill down my spine as there was no way he could've known..

Full scale invasion or attack like this is very very unlikley. Even 1962 war and the following skirmishes with them was contained at local level. But I think some small battle between us is brewing and something will give in the coming years.
