    Thanks a tonne bro.

Good news - The test was realllly easy nd I aced it.

Bad News - Theres a snow storm in Toronto and I dont know what that means for my flight out.

^ KG - the ps3 has an universal power adapter - accepts both 110v and 220v

    V

Iv read that everywhere but the manual says it only accepts 110v. Has anyone actually used a US ps3 in India? Sorry for being so anal about this but Id ne ver forgive myself if I mess it up.

Bad News - I almost killed myself getting to the airport, All the cabs were booked and I had to drag my giant suitcase, PS3 and my laptop through 2 feet of snow. The bag was like a plough and gathered snow maing it tougher and tougher to pull and it took me a good 45 mins to carry it from my home to the bus stop. All the buses were running late and I had to wait for over an hour for a bus that is supposed to come every 10 mins.

Good News - I saved $35 :roflroll2: and reached the airport on time

Bad News - The flight got delayed by 2 hours because of the weather

Good News - My connecting flight was delayed too

    Bad News - CSIA

Good News - A US PS3 works on Indian power with no problem. Thanks guys

  2. Your HP scanner and printer should have come with some MAC software with which you can it.

Macs are available in either black or white. IMO black looks wayy better than white but then again you are paying a little extra for it. With the black there arent any options to chose from but with the white one you can chose between a 2.0 processor and a 2.2. Get the fastest one you can afford.

As for the OS version, Leapord is the new MAC OS and it should come pre instalelled with on your machine. Id say MS Office is a definate must buy if you are going to use the notebook to work. Other than that I dont really think you need to buy anytihng else unles you have some specific needs.

Dell vs MAC? Id take the MAC if budget isnt an issue.

  3. ^^ None of the products being discussed here are discontinued.

I have the dv6000 series (15.4") and Im reasonably happy with it. Very good looking and pretty sturdy chassis. The dv9000 series is the 17" one and I guess is the one to buy if its more of a desktop replacement.

No point discussing performance as that depends on your configuration and OS.
