  1. Dante you're just frustrated that the ending wasn't as good as the first half. They built up so much of hype, only to bring it crashing down with the lamest of reasons. I feel you.

They should've brainstormed better, and come up with a better ending. Maybe tweaked the story to suit the new ending.

  2. Weird problem.

All the account on my phone show sync disabled. on 3G and on Wifi. What could be the problem? Even if i manually go sync them, after a while it goes back to disabled.

Could it be a kernel problem ? I recently changed to Siyah from stock.

  3. That's how it is with goalkeepers isnt it ? they can make tens of awesome saves but one mistake and they are the villains, quite different from strikers who can misfire all day long and converting just one chance can make them heroes. Cech has saved our arses time and again all these years and (not so glaring) errors in one match cant be the reason to call for his head. He is still among the top shot stoppers in the world.

Agreed you don't have to call for his head. But atleast some criticism should be directed his way. Let's keep Torres on the chopping block, but also see if Cech is falling off his game.

  4. How come no one questions Cech? I feel that the first goal should've been stopped. There was no deflection etc, but Cech was giving is trademark blank stare without any movement as the ball goes past the line .

And the parrying was bad for the third goal.

  5. Saw life of Pi and talaash.

Life of Pi, a very beautiful movie. Some scenes are awesome. I'd already read the book, and which took away the awe a little bit. But it's done justice to the book. Stuck to the book, no altering the script anywhere.

    Talaash, what crap!

  6. After the initial horror of 20 minutes, Pool played really well. If only they start games at the same pace... Downing and Henderson are only liabilities. Assaidi should be given more opportunites. and until Wisdom and Kelly are fit, move Jose Enrique back to left back. Where is Suso?!

Benitez: Torres is not the player he was

Rafael Benitez on Tuesday admitted he did not know whether Fernando Torres could recapture his Liverpool form at Chelsea.

Interim Blues manager Benitez insisted he could improve the fortunes of Torres, who he helped become one of the best strikers in the world at Anfield and has flopped since his £50million move to Stamford Bridge.

But Benitez acknowledged the 28-year-old was not the same player he had been before joining Chelsea and needed to improve physically to stand a chance of recapturing his glory days.

Three Blues managers have failed to get Torres scoring regularly, each repeatedly insisting there was nothing wrong with the forward.

The man who knows his fellow Spaniard better than any of them said on Tuesday: "He's not exactly the same player now, because he was at maximum level at this time [at Liverpool].

"We have to improve some players physically and they will come back to maybe the strength they had," Benitez said, insisting age or injuries had nothing to do with Torres's loss of explosive pace.

"He has to train in a way that suits him. We will try to find this way.

"It's a question of time, but we know we have to change the movements we're working.

"You have to work in the gym on strength. Maybe he needs to do that again."

"But I think he can come back. How close? I don't know. It depends on the rest of the team.

"I'm sure he can improve, but the team has to help him."

Torres also has to help himself, as does Benitez, following a run of just 19 goals in 88 games for the European champions.

"The first thing is to give him some confidence, instructions as to how he can do things in a different way, improve him a little bit physically," said Benitez, who wants Torres's team-mates to create more chances for the striker and win the ball back more quickly in defence.

"You need to be stronger in defence, regain the ball easier and then you can create your own chances. That will benefit Torres.

"Players with mobility, quality... we can improve all these things."

Benitez denied he was under pressure to pick Torres amid reports previous Chelsea managers had been given the impression by owner Roman Abramovich that the club's record signing must play.

"It's easy at the moment because [Daniel] Sturridge is still injured," he said.

Indeed, Sturridge is Chelsea's only other recognised centre-forward and it seems unthinkable they will not attempt bolster their attack in the January transfer window.

But Benitez said: "I can guarantee I've been so busy, I haven't had time to watch any DVDs, or have conversations about this or that player.

"I have to improve the players who are here."

One option could be to recall Romelu Lukaku from his successful loan spell at West Brom.

Benitez said: "I know the player. He's fine.

"But, again, it depends on the players we have here and then I'll speak with the club to see if it's possible.

"It's not an option at the moment. I've not had time."
