    decide the size first, also altough Plasma tech has approved, screen burn in is still an issue with any brand. I would advise to go for LED/LCD just for peace of mind. Also forget asking here, just go to showroom audition and pick the one you like the best.

     

    Internet is the place to confuse yourself not to make a decision.

    ok...asking a Q that has been beaten to death here :fear: Considering it's festive season and there are all sorts of offers flying across; i was wondering if i shud pick a tv to replace my 32" LG that has been running for close to 3 years now. Choice is between a samsung/bravia 55". However, someone at work is recommending a samsung plasma. I would love plasma as far as picture quality is concerned (not high on 3D and sh*t) but not sure about after sales support/maintenance costs :( someone kindly advise.

     

    I've got a 40" LG Plasma. Picture quality i stop notch. The blacks are the best compared to LCD/LED. I've not had any issues with the TV expect a bit of image burn in which is kinda annoying. Elec costs are also not high. I normally get a bill of around 600-700 at the most. Haven't had any maintenance issues since i bought it, which was around 6 months back.

    Booked IMAX on Saturday.... at 550 a ticket, it's def not worth it, but what the hell, I'll try it out once. Like I tried out Gold class once when i first entered Bangalore.

    Thank God Skyfall is running, and not some douchebag movie.

     

    Btw, Ted silently was running at the movies and has been removed also :( I've to Jack Sparrow it now.
