Chahal is good when batsman are playing defensively but the moment any decent batsman attacks him, he freezes like a deer in front of headlight. Same is the case with Kuldeep. Both of them can run through lineups who try to play them defensively but fall short against good players of spin. This is why I still feel Ash deserves a run in ODIs as well, he is a thinking bowler and along with Chahar he can make a killer pair on sub continent pitches.
