Yep. IRRC Gears and Forza are well optimized too so no issues.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the consoles do mostly upscaled 4k? On PC nobody talks about upscaled. All native. You can buy a cheaper GPU like GTX 1660ti and still get 30 fps 4k

This looks so damn weird and strange and interesting. Very curious about this. -
^ Definitely sounds like prepping for a high price point

What can even do 4k 120? I don't even an rtx 2080ti + ryzen 9 3900x can do that.

After playing games for 60 fps for years theres no way I can just go back to 30 fps. The difference is so jarring its crazy. I would rather tone down graphic settings to get smooth gameplay.

It's only published by Gearbox. Dev is Counterplay Games. I think this is their first game.

Been playing Unity for the last 3 weeks or so. Some thoughts: The good: - Environmental graphics are amazing. The best looking Assassins Creeds I've played yet. So much detail its insane. The artists reall put their heart and soul into this and it shows. - Feels really good to go back to a dense city after playing Origins. - This game has more "indoor" areas that any other AC game I've played and I love it. Running though the streets and ducking into buildings right and left feels great. - Love the "Parkour Down" button. - Love the main assassination set-ups. Very AC1-like. - The crowds. It's kind of glitchy (people will snap on top of platforms and stuff) but it still fits the atmosphere created very well. Feels like a city alive, with everyone doing something or the other and interacting with one another. Many times I just stop and look at what the people are doing: people going on about their work, some people carrying a corpse, lots of people rioting. If you go in the quiter areas you'll find people playing music, dancing. In the churches people will be getting married, at the graveyard people will be crying over their loved ones (also on the street). It's unreal how much detail there is and how dense it is. The bad: - The story is really bleh. Arno is bleh. Elise is bleh. All the other characters are bleh. - Too much stuff to do like all the other AC games and its not "fun" stuff. Just run of-the-mill assassinations, boring chests and collectibles that only litter the map so you cant f**king find the stuff you really want to do. - The "base building" is really really shallow. - Stealth feels like its missing something. Maybe I'm spoiled by newer games but a "whistle" button would have done wonders. I'm also really missing the Eagles from the modern games where you could tag your enemies. Popping Eagle Vision every 10 seconds to see where enemies are is annoying af. - The control scheme. Holding down RT/R2 90% of the time is not fun. I'm glad the new games fixed this. - Combat is a lot tougher this time around, but they made it look really weird. Like, the animations - nothing ever feels like it really connects. Like those old movies where someone punches someone else but you can see they're clearly missing.

The whole appeal of fable is the fairy-taile aesthetic. Rememeber when they tried to make Dead Rising super gritty and it failed hard on its face? -
Making my way through The Office properly this time. I've watched it before but it was very haphazardly. Season 5 is such a blast. My favourite Season yet.

Exactly what I've been doing

' Both of last generations consoles look so good compared to this gens BS One looks like a sci fi fan render from 2010 youtube video made in movie maker and the other is a fridge

1440p is where the sweet spot is right now, even on PC

This is going to be one of those games where Critic Score is high and audience score is low, isn't it?

GG on twitter is calling it Horizon Forbidden West. I think the "II" in the logo is just a stylistic choice. Official title is without II

Eh? Bloodborne looks fine even today.

I'm worried about underwater movement tbh. Underwater always sucks
