Finished the single player. Whole thing was 'meh' for me.. I'd give it a 7/10 that too mostly for the presentation. Rockstar should've given themselves a little more freedom with the gameplay. It feels like HD version of a game that could've been created in 1998.
Then again most shooters are like that. Expected more from R*
The whole thing felt so damn restricted. Especially the very last level
Right before the part where you jump in the car and go after the plane. If you moved even a little bit away from the designated area, you would get instakilled. WTF man. Felt like 3rd person CoD
and PS: i'm not even judging this as a 'max payne' game.. just a normal 3rd person shooter. I had way more fun with Gears of War 3 single player

If you find a movie average, watching it uncut or directors cut or producers cut wouldnt change a damn thing.
I agree but there are some exceptions. I've heard Superman II Richard Donners Cut is vastly different from the Superman II shown in theatres
