    Watched two shows:

     

    Mad Men Season 1 - It's interesting. I like the characters and the 60's style. But the series is so goddamn slow. Almost dozed off numerous times while watching. All those developments in the last episode should have been bumped up to the middle of the season or at least a few episodes before. Please tell me its gets better than this? Or at least faster?

     

     

    Firefly - First 6 episodes - I was blown away. I'm very surprised by how much I'm enjoying this. Will watch the rest soon.

    Just saw the Demo.. looks good. Amazing graphics. I liked the banter between the two.

     

     

    Game of E3 2012. Awesome. Even better than WATCH_DOGS

     

     

    I don't think so.. as good as it was, it didn't show anything new or innovative.

  17. Which Internet Connection is everyone using ?

    The FiveNet franchisee guys in my area are lazy assholes. Last year,I called them many times for a new connection and those buggers would very rarely lift the call. A couple of times they did lift the call and promised to come at my residence for doing the wiring work. But they never came. :thumbdown:

     

    Instead I applied for a HomeNet(cablewallah) connection. Their plans are quite cheap with no FUP bullshit. 4 Mbps UL for 11.4k per year. 2 Mbps UL for 5.7k per year. A major plus point is that the speed doubles at night. :D

     

    I have been using it almost an year now and the service is awesome with almost no disconnections.

     

    My cablewallah has regular disconnections. One reason I switched to Airtel. Like ganeshran said, Airtel rarely has any downtime. There are times I really hate them for being assholes, but I have to give them the 'no downtime' bit.

    Saw Game Of Thrones S02E09 - Blackwater

     

     

    Very impressive. Must have had a huge budget. However I don't think it was their best episode. GoT's strength lies in those tension filled conversations that they do so well. Also, Lena Headley was excellent. It was the first time I realised she's a really good actor. Shame she's been eclipsed by Peter Dinklage and others.

     

     

    Also, RIP Onion Knight :(

     

     

    Did anyone notice how much of badass mofo Stannis was? First one off the boat, first one up the ladder, shouting at his men to stand and fight. That man gives no f**ks. He probably doesn't even know what f**ks are.

    I plan to play The Witcher games sometime.. sigh..

     

     

    I'll be keeping a close eye on this though. Very curious what they do with Cyberpunk. Has anyone here actually played the Cyberpunk table top game?

    Btw, they have opened up their shop in Bangalore, not sure what they are doing there. Its been close to six months but no news about it.

    n00b question, why doest it require online for SP? Is is kind of WoW?

     

    its requires online because of the Real Money Auction House. Since real money is involved they want to ensure there's no cheating, so you have to be connected at all times so that they monitor you.
