    Also would like to say its nice seeing a science fiction movie draw such heavy influences from Islamic/Arabic culture. A lot of sci-fi tends to feel samey because they draw from euro-american stuff.

    From what I understood, the Emperor was jealous/scared of House Atreus growing influence and power. So he wanted to take them out. But he couldn't do that directly since that might unite all the other houses against him so he had to make it look like it was some kind of internal conflict between House Atreus and the other Sith-looking House. 

     

    Oscar Issac knew that some sh*t might go down but he wanted to go there and ally with the Fremen.

    I saw Dune. (i havent read the books. i dont know anything about this universe)

     

    I have mixed feelings tbh.

     

    I liked what was in the movie. Everything looked fantastic. The lore and story was good. I'm looking forward to the next one.

     

    But the structure of the movie itself felt very odd. Too much worldbuilding. Too time spent on vision/dream sequences.

     

    And the ending felt very abrupt. Like I just watched 5 episodes of a 10 episode tv season. I know that theres a part 2 that will cover the rest of the book, but part 1 should still feel like a movie, with the three acts structure, with a climax etc. It just all felt so odd. 

     

    It also felt like there was so much weird random sh*t like a woman just suddenly wailing for no reason. I'm sure it makes sense for book readers, but as a movie watcher it felt very odd. 

     

    If this movie didn't look as good as it did, I would recommend just wait it out and watch both movies together. But the movie looks really good on an IMAX screen. The visuals are fantastic. So go and watch it I guess.

    dont be afraid to lower difficulty lol. this games "normal difficulty" is tougher than the standard "normal" across other games.

    This was one of the most famous shows ever. 2nd to Game Of Thrones. :doh: Don't google anything. You will get sh*t tons of spoilers in search suggestions, headlines and youtube thumbnails etc 

     

    Honestly bole tho, don't even post in the forum. There are some dumbasses here who forget to spoiler tag stuff. Somebody is bound to forget what happened in what season and might spoil something.
