    DVI-D should do fine. In-fact I would prefer to use DVI over HDMI because it supports a higher resolution.

     

    VGA is out of the running, too old. And image quality improves if you use any of the newer standards.

     

    Rest of the PC looks okay.

    im sure the problem is with the settings,

    it happened with me a lot in starting, but soon i figured it out,

    not sure with Nvdea, mine is AMD, :good:

    and are u doing all these just to get audio through HDMI?

    okay,unless and until u have audio video reciever high end, and plannng to watch bluray movies with all the crunch and glory of sound decoding techs like DTS-hd/true-HD

    then nothing worth it believe me, ur plan for 2-channel out from HDMI is worth nothing, because Video is not that good quality through HDMI, VGA/DVI is far better option.,
