Not bad at all. Good stuff.
-
How much?

Saha, what a guy. Should've had his hattrick, but oh well.

24 episodes. And yes, it's really good. Depressing atmosphere with lots of dark humour.

Afty:

I'm rewatching one of my favourite series right now: Welcome to the NHK. So awesome. Anyone else here watched it?
-
Shadoken: Konata avy ftw.
So I finished both seasons of Honey and Clover. Good stuff, but Takemoto and Hagu were fail. Watched the first five episodes of Baka to Test, and I like it, it's good. Going to check out Military K-on (Sora no Woto) soon.

Arsenal.

They haven't learned from the game at Emirates at all. Still trying to cross the ball into the box against Chelsea.
-
lol Kevin Phillips.
-
Arteta. Zomg, how we've missed him.
-
Chrome Shelled Regios, Seto no Hanayome, Sora no Otoshimono?
-
Rio.

England are not winning the WC this year.

@leet - Let's see, recommendations, eh? You've probably watched most of these, but:
1) Zero no Tsukaima - 3 seasons out so far.
2) Kekkaishi
3) Ga-Rei Zero
4) Tower of Druaga (Druaga no To) - Very underwatched and underrated anime. Two seasons out.
5) Basquash
These are all (with the exception of Ga-Rei Zero) somewhat shonen-ish, if not completely.

Watch Death Note, nemo. Do it nao.
And leet, Fairy Tail is not Seinen.

-
Gyabo! Two Nodame followers!
Have heard good things about both shows, but I can't tell you anything because I haven't watched them. Watching Honey and Clover right now, so I'll probably watch them once I get done with it.

Watched Spice and Wolf? If not, check it out.
Or alternately, Akagi, One Outs or Kaiji (all three are very similar).
-
Does anyone here watch Nodame Cantabile? Its third season is the only new anime I've picked up this season. Winter fail. Will probably give So Ra No Wo To and Baka no Test a shot in the next few days though.
-
Yeah, Season 4 and 2 usually tend to get shafted.
I loved the whole school kids storyline. The pay-offs for both Namond and Michael's stories were just great.
-
Yup, that was awesome. But while it was a great show overall, it never reached the heights of season 1 in any of the later seasons.
In terms of consistency, it didn't. But there were flashes of brilliance throughout the show, IMO, like the last two episodes of S3, Clay Davis' courtroom speech, Frank Sabotka's
last drive
, etc.

A sternly worded letter? Unless that letter is ‘X’ and it’s slashed into somebody’s face, that is not ninja-approved
f**king LOL'd.

Do yourself a favour and watch all of it. It's very slow-paced and even for a series with such a slow pace, it starts out exceptionally slow. But stick with it and you will reap rich dividends.
Fantastic characters, awesome character development and a great plot. Omar, Lester, Bunk, Avon, Stringer...

Also, sheeeeeeiiiiiittttttttt.
-
The Wire is absolutely brilliant. Pinnacle of television writing, IMO.
The scene where Dee explains chess to Bodie and Wallace has to be one of the best ever. "The King stay the King..."
For anyone else who's watched it, favourite scenes and quotes?
-
So good, it had to be posted twice, eh?

Terrible defending though, it has to be said.

Pretty sure that's the infraction system, where it shows if you've been warned by the mods for any reason. And yes, only you can see it.
