  1. Wenger will not leave Arsenal. Seriously, if you spend four to five years waiting for your youngsters to develop, while getting sh*t from everyone for not winning a trophy, why would you leave when they're finally starting to come good, and will only get better?

It'd be madness if he left.

Also, I seriously hope Fabregas doesn't leave. Arsenal in a few years will be unbeatable if they keep their core intact, and make a couple of signings each season.

  2. Bro Rafa has made one string of bad decisions after another.. somehow Stevie G/Torres have always bailed him out.. I think his luck has run out..

For the love of god, why he doesn't play Babel more is beyond me :fear: .. even against Birmingham Babel came on in the 83rd minute!!! And thats after the blinder goal against Lyon!!! WTF!?!? Babel is gone this winter for sure!

I don't know.. because Babel sucks? Of course, he's better than Voronin (that guy's just useless), but that really isn't saying much.

  3. The problem that I have with the N'Gog dive is that the tackle was a foul! If you look carefully, he dribbled the ball past the tackle, and if he'd just kept going, the defender would definitely have caught him. That he had to jump and dive theatrically is what I find hilarious.

  4. i dont mean che r weaker what i mean is every team is weaker without their best 2 players and if we remember last year we beat united without gerrard and torres the problem is ppl dont see the 3rd player who is missing and thats alonso he is equally important

Yes, but none of the other Big 4 teams are as affected by injuries to their top two like Liverpool are.

  5. pretty ironic considering the amount of money arsenal and liverpool have spent in last few years .

I've said it before, but don't bring up Liverpool's spending in any meaningful discussion. He's had to spend money on bit-part players because he's had to build an entire squad, not just make a few high-profile purchases.

  6. There was a clear penalty for leaning against and pulling down Valencia by Terry in the first half, which neither the ref nor you saw I guess. Also drogba got kicked on his chest because of momentum, not that evans has any intention for it. Also the FK which led to the goal was incorrect decision by ref because fletcher got the ball correctly without any foul. All of you says it is wrong on part of United fans to be angry. But as far as i can remember all chelsea fans blasted the ref when you lose to Barca last year. Weren't you? Also It was still

JOHN ********ING TERRY! when he was labelled as

    (still is)

"bottled in moscow delivered in Manchester". Every player has a lean patch, you should not flame other fans for it. Finally congrats on your win. I don't want to flame anyone just making my point. Cheers!!!

Ah, the irony of a United fan making a post like this.. I love it!

This match was the exact reverse of the United - City match:

    1) Only one goal.

    2) United's opponents got awarded a freekick incorrectly and scored.

    3) Not enough stoppage time played.

Justin Timberlake's third law of physics at play here, I guess. "What goes around..."

  7. AFAIK Mendieta was one of the main reason when Valencia were runners up of champions league on back to back season once lost to real other one I forgot, he was terrific play maker and absolute brilliant player, he also scored from penalty on one of the finals as long as i can remember.

Yeah, him, Canizares, Kily Gonzalez and Claudio Lopez were the backbone of the team. They lost on penalties to Bayern in 2001, btw.

It's kinda sad to see Valencia's situation now. Rafa took over from Cuper right at the tail end of a really successful project that involved buying the right players and blooding the right youngsters. He did his thing and then left. :) Why? Because he didn't get to sign the players he wanted. Seems to be a recurring theme in all of his jobs.

kya yaar, i was hoping AM lose and lose badly.

It will help in runing down Aguero's price :hi: come next transfer season

You have no Argentinians and Spaniards. He won't sign for you. If he signs for Liverpool though, that'll be the most mouth-watering forward line for years to come. Can you imagine them both in their peak? :P

    source : guardian

    :hypocrite:

    please let it be true.

It would really work, though. Target man + Speedy Gonzalez, much like the Heskey and Owen combination. Except, you know, Drogba is 10x of what Heskey was.

  8. United are Sky's darlings, the same way Liverpool are BBC's. We could go on and on about media and referee bias, but it'll keep going in circles because the ones who are favoured by it will turn a blind eye to it, and the ones on the other side will just sound like they have some sour grapes.

    It's stupid, let it go.

  9. You played it??? Any changes from 09 version??? :)

    Changes? It's almost unrecognizable.

Setting tactics, a task I thought to be troublesome yet essential in the previous versions, is insane fun now. The touchline instructions are great. Keeps you much more involved in the match, and encourages you to pay attention, instead of setting it on very high speeds in the previous versions. The backroom staff gives you advice before each game too, though most of it is useless.

Graphics-wise, they've added crowds now. Player animations look much more fluid and realistic too.
