  1. I know I've defended him on here before, but WTF was Rafa thinking, taking Torres off? Yes, Champions League and all that, but win the game you're playing first! And now it's come back to bite him in the arse.

    EDIT: LOL, red card.

  2. ^^ Wow spamming eh?

He's posted like twice. I'm amazed you can tell he's a spammer already, considering he's actually said something about both Tekken and this.

He probably is one, but I'd wait before labeling him.

  3. I had to look up Crunchyroll. Excellent site, although I don't see anything that really appeals to me. We watch completely different genres so I can see how you may not be able to find some of those shows at retail.

But then again, they ought to be REALLY easy to find seeing as how EVERYONE watches the kind of shows you talk about

I bring up the stuff I watch and more often than not, no one has a clue.. :|

Yeah, I like a lot of slice-of-life stuff, and they're usually not licensed because.. well, the casual likes his shounen.

And I watch a lot of anime, and like loads of them, but the ones I truly love are the ones no-one else talks about on here.

Just out of curiosity, can you name some of your fav anime/manga?

Even if you only asked Key, I'm gonna make a list :D:

    1) Gintama - I don't think anything is ever going to topple this off my #1. Easily the best thing that's ever aired on anything.

    2) Aria - Really slow-paced slice-of-life about the lives of six undines in Neo-Venezia.

    3) Skip Beat! - lulz

The rest are more or less unranked. As for manga:

    1) One Piece

    2) H2

    3) Beck

    4) 20th Century Boys

    5) Touch

  4. I agree! Anime or film, you can never win with subtitles. But some of the extras they've started including in the legit versions these days are quite thorough and, to me at least, make up for any subbing hiccups (if they exist). Lots of studio tours, making-ofs, interviews, director commentaries, booklets, etc.

Anime is back breaking work so its always nice to give back if and when you can.

Hmm those things sound rather interesting, actually.

And the bolded part is the key, for me. I'd have been a Crunchyroll member a long time ago, but they don't license for streaming to India. And none of my favourite series, i.e. the ones I'd actually pay huge amounts to get entire boxsets of, are licensed outside of friggin' Crunchyroll.

EDIT: Jojo's first story is really good. The rest I found to be rather boring. Plus, the art grates on me.

  5. 2, 3 and 4 are. I have no idea what 1 is, but I'm sure it's licensed as well.

How are the legal versions inferior? The copies on the internet are all ripped from a retail source!

Nah, dead certain Kara no Kyoukai is not licensed. Wasn't aware about the rest, though. Need to keep up with the times!

And I was talking about fansubs vs official ones. Better TL, karaoke, typesetting etc.

  6. ROFL. Was that a joke? Of course they're licensed.

Unless you mean India, in which case you could use that excuse to download (almost) the whole internet

Wasn't aware of that, major brainfart on my part. Which ones are licensed?

And supporting the industry or not, paying for something that's inferior to the version available for free just doesn't sit right with me.

  7. completed hajime no ippo anime plus 870 chapters of manga ,it was awesome and very funny couldnt stop laughing with some of scenes involving aoki and takamura ,going to start full metal alchemist, read around four chapters long time a go,heard anime is completely changes from middle of story ,guys which is better anime or manga

Watch FMA: Brotherhood. It's a remake, and follows the manga this time round.

Can someone suggest some good anime movies released in the last few years.

    1) Kara no Kyoukai series (You'll enjoy this - they're adaptations of Kinoko Nasu light novels) Six of them have subbed thus far. The seventh and final one just released in Japan, will see subs next year, probably.

    2) 5 centimeters per second (Byousoku 5cm)

    3) Toki wo kakeru shoujo (The girl who leapt through time)

    4) Sword of the Stranger

    5) Jin-Roh - The Wolf Brigade

I hope you know where to get them?
