  1. Valkyria Chronicles.

Didn't the game tank badly due to poor marketing? Probably why we're getting a PSP sequel and not a PS3 one after all that talk about the Canvas Engine and whatnot.

  2. Okay noob question. I never played this on the PC because I read about how poor a port it was. How good is the PS3 version, though? Worth putting down some cash in TP to get this?

Yes, I could probably Google this, but I can't be bothered doing that right now.

  3. i think barry price was even higher plus he is not that young, wayne bridge price was most stupid deal, heard tevez deal was around 40 million pound, contract with man utd was 32 million pound, stupid price for player who scored 6 goals in pl last season, lol carrick price was good,3 pl titles,1 champions league,he did his part in the sucess, johnson price is high though

Can I ask you which site you go to for all those figures? Barry was 12mil, Liverpool almost paid 18 for him last year. Tevez was 25, and Bridge was around 10, which for a quality full-back, is not bad at all. These are from the Beeb, btw.

And you seriously think the Carrick price was justified?

  4. i have no problem with city spending, but wtf price they paid for lescott, bridge, barry, tevez ,market prices have gone up,players cost higher then their worth, just like chelsea did few season back

lol wut. Lescott cost stupid money yes, but the rest of them you mentioned?

Of course, Barry for 12mil was overpriced, and Johnson for 17mil and Carrick for 18.5mil were okay.

  5. no no m8 i am not saying that i am saying that having some signings is ofcourse essential and required but having a squad replaced is not the way to go by buying proven world class players you are just showing that most money will result in best football

Every team does that. Phases out poorer/older players and brings in someone new. For teams with budget constraints, that involves buying/developing younger players, so it can be a long and tedious process. But if you give those teams a huge budget, you can bet your house on the fact that they will spend it.

What City are doing is nothing new or unnatural. It's just an accelerated version of the process every team goes through, thanks to the money they have.

I see your point, but that only applies to teams that already have a good/great squad. If you're a Manchester United or a Chelsea, you can afford to make only one or two major signings a season, and relax. For a mid-table team with vision and loads of money like City, they have to build big, and build quick.

  6. i believe making 1-2 big signings per season is a little different because you are making profits and winning trophies and selling players as well

you may look at us for instance, we have made 3 10M+ signings in 3 transfer windows (nasri arshavin vermaelen)

So what you're saying is that only the historically big clubs have the right to spend big?

Everyone's just spending as much money as they possibly can (except Arsenal), and it just so happens that City could spend a lot. You will not find a club that doesn't want to spend money even though they have shitloads of it (again, except Arsenal).

  7. and toure and lescott and tevez and barry and given and robinho and tried for kaka

    get my point

And what's wrong with those players? Well, Lescott screwed us over, but we got way more money for him that we ever would have, so it's all cool.

Their squad has a bunch of likable players (apart from Ade and Bellamy) like Ireland, de Jong, Bridge et al.

EDIT: So it's okay to spend big money season after season, but it's not okay to spend it all at once? I don't really see why.
