    Damn you Dredd! :P

    Now i soooo desparately want to buy that :P

    But a difference of 8000rs(12500 in HK as oppossed to 20500 in India)is too much :(

    Hot toys is HK based. Getting it from there is better. Everywhere else its ~300USD. I lost prev 2 bids on ebay for iron man. They all ended around 300.

    thx. Won bidding auction on ebay global. Got it from hong kong for 230USD +40 shipping.

    Still its a lot cheaper than here.

    bowen designs makes figs in basically 2 types - museum and action

    this one is museum. maybe thats why the wierdness. randy never sculpts his wolverines ripped. so they look more human. it appeals to some and doesnt to others. check out "kotobukiya wolverine: danger room sessions" and you willl understand what i am saying.

    1. How does your spouse feel about your gaming time?

    She's cool because she reads books when I game. when I ask her "hey! check this cutscene out." she replies "hey! check out whats written on this page of the jane austen novel." mostly i manage to get her to check the cutscene out. but i havent checked out the novel yet. :P i think i shud.

     

    2. Does she think those gaming figurines would come in handy for the kids to play with?

    Nope. Because she knows I would never give it to the kids. she knows they are costly. She likes some of them (read Kratos, Snake)

    my son knows the names of all figurines. though he cannot still understand why he calls one fig as 'snake', another as 'snake' and third as 'snake'. someday he will understand the diff between 'naked' and 'old'.

     

    3. And the money spent on this passion, how does she feel about it?

    She knows I have very few such passions, so shes cool.

     

    4. Do you encourage your wife to play some videogames with you?

    Yes. She liked LBP. She plays Everybodys Golf alone because I win in v/s mode.

    Also GTA Vice City. But she left it after she kept failing when the guy on pizza delivery scooter got away.

    She liked assassins creed in-game art/texturing.

    (not related to marriage and gaming, but my mom liked UC1 and UC2 cutscenes. my dad used to play roller coaster tycoon 3 a lot.)

    Gamers fo life!!!

     

    5. Would you be happy, surprised, thrilled or scared if your wife also became a member of IVG?

    Surprised

     

    6. Do you encourage your wife or share her passions say may be, Saas-Bahu serial, Or Romantic YRF movie Or Cricket, Or Bhartnatyam Dance Show etc..?

    I share her passion to bake (not me but cakes). cause i get to eat something in the end.

    i did consider it re. This one isnt having that berserker feel. But others with that feel had blue n yellow costume. This badass costume won in the end. What you want is in "bowen wolverine classic action". Google it. Its simply awesome. That was in my list till i clicked on 'pay' :bigyellowgrin:

    This is comparatively new release. So cheaper rt nw. Saved on 6000 yen just by getting it directly from US.

    How is "merc with a mouth" (deadpool) and "angels n demons" ( x force vol 1) ??

     

     

    tintin never gets old. The gauls Astrix and co. are epic as well, if i can scourge up monies will get all of them someday. right now its 8-9k for all 35 or so books.

    Yah! Hv all tintin n asterix. Mom used to make homemade pizzas and i used to sit down with asterix/tintin (as per mood) in evening after my homework. Sweet memories!!!!!

     

    Hows cable n deadpool btw?
