    Hello Experts,

     

    Thanks for all your advice you have given me so far .. i have another question ..

     

     

    What is the difference between SPDIF Coaxial and SPDIF Optical audio output .. i know both carry the same data .. but in terms of quality does it make any difference and can one easily find converters between the two in India ?

    Hi Guys,

    I am looking to build my Home Theatre setup .. i have a PS3 and a LCD TV (HDMI connected) .. i plan to buy a HDMI capable AV receiver (Onkyo or Sony) this will enable me to play games with good sound output ..

     

    Next step is that i want my movies and songs to also look good and sound good .. i am planning to build a HTPC (Home Theatre PC)which I will place next to my PS3 and connect it to my AV receiver .. I have seen some sites on the web which suggest decent setups for a HTPC with HDMI capabilities .. since this will be around a 30k investment .. i want to be sure .. i am a bit skeptical over sound .. my HTPC will output sound to my AV receiver over HDMI .. has anyone got this setup or has any idea about how good this is in practice ..

    Interesting - Dutch Goal Correct Says Ref Chief

     

    Dutch striker Ruud van Nistelrooy's opening goal in the win over Italy was legitimate, says Premier League referees' chief Keith Hackett.

     

    Van Nistelrooy looked yards offside when he prodded home from close range.

     

    But it appears he was played onside by defender Christian Panucci, who was lying off the pitch at the time.

     

    "The fact is the assistant was correct; the defender who slid off the field is still regarded as active," Hackett told BBC Sport.

    Grant for me was a nice manager. Some of his decisions are questionable though (like Joe Cole was not there in the Carling Cup Final starting line up, Essien not taking a penalty shot). He also couldn't get the players' respect as they didn't see him as the fitting replacement for the mumbling Mourinho.

     

    For me Grant was sacked when Terry missed the net. Though one also has to seriously think whether Grant would have been able to handle a full fledged season had he been retained.

     

    Chelsea though should stick with the asst. managers Clark and Ten Cate as they the really good at what they do, I also think they would find it difficult to get a decent manager given the history of Abrahmovic's impatience and meddling in team affairs.

     

    Well all this is just my opinion.
