    I have a query. Whenever I loginto steam, it starts downloading updates for my games on it's own. I have no control over it. How do I change it to a user controlled setting? It's not in "settings" tab :(

    i think u can pause download i did for my team fortress 2 ....

    Internet mein search kiya...phir ClientRegistry.blog file ko rename kiya ClientRegistryOld.blog mein...phir steam applictaion khola and started updating it ...now it is not showing Not responding...

    Steam Backup and Restore sucks. It takes a lot of time. And even after restore it was going to download a ton of data. Better to just copy and paste steamapps - the rest will take care of itself.

    i just updated the new steam ...the old never use to give this problem of Not responding...but this time after few mins it is showing not responding...I did not even use back up option or restore option.

    Final Fantasy Versus XIII to debut short gameplay footage at TGS

     

    Tetsuya Nomura, speaking to fans through The 3rd Birthday’s official Twitter account, has hinted that Final Fantasy Versus XIII and Final Fantasy Agito XIII will have a minimal presence at the Tokyo Game Show next month. Currently, Nomura is in the preparations phase for the megaton of Japanese expos.

     

    In the updates, Nomura mentioned that new promotional videos for Kingdom Hearts Re:coded, The 3rd Birthday, and Nomura’s next unannounced title will be revealed at the show. Following, he said that Versus XIII and Agito XIII are being condensed into a single “short notice” under the Fabula Nova Crystallis banner. Under that banner, they will showcase short, one-minute long trailers for Versus XIII and Agito XIII. It’ll demonstrate real-time footage of the gameplay pictures from Famitsu this past June. This will be shown exclusively on the monitors in the demo line areas rather than in the open theater. Be sure to take those cell phones.

     

    The Tokyo Game Show begins on September 16. Let’s hope the minimality of Versus XIII’s presence is marked with something substantial. Let that footage wow us, Nomura.

    Demo for Vanquish in September - New Character for TGS

     

    The producer of upcoming third-person shooting game Vanquish, Atsushi Inaba, has confirmed that the game will be getting a demo that will be available from September 2nd.

     

    The demo will allow players to play through a prologue sequence of the upcoming title and also fight against one of the game's bosses named Argos.

     

    Furthermore, Inaba also confirmed that the demo they will have available to play at this year's Tokyo Games Show in mid September will be different to the one released on Septmber 2nd. A surprise character may also make an appearance as well (Bayonetta or Gene from God Hand perhaps?)

     

    The game is due for general release on October 21st.

    I enjoyed watching Peepli Live. Short, Crisp, To the point and absolutely earnest. I have seen the life in villages of MP and Chattisgarh and I have also worked in Media for some years now aso could relate to both the extremes. Also, watching it on National Holiday was incredibly patriotic experience anyway.

     

    I loved the way it was shot. The dialogues, direction and more so the main cast of the film.. Guys who 've been doing theatres for years now finally gotta showcase their talent on big screen.

     

    I really hope that Raghubir Yadav will also be nominated for Filmfare for his acting with the Star likes of Saif, Shahrukh, Imran etc Khans and Kumars..

    Watched Peepli Live.

     

    It's good, not great. The satire is good but better have been done before (read, Jaane Bhi Do Yaaron). After watching it I couldn't help thinking that the director, Anusha Rizvi, may be a fan of Premchand's books/short stories.

    It will make you think the way RDB made you think. You'll think about it for a day or two, and then forget all about it.

     

    Aamir Khan is a an excellent businessman.

    RDB was really good ...it was something you will remember for a long time not 2-3 days...but i agree abt this movie .

    After reviewing the movie , the reviewer gave a 5 min lecture that the movie has shown the media in a very bad way n its only the thoughts of aamir n the director...

     

    She said the media is very responsible n the movie has gone too far with this satire :P

    He's not. And totally agree on the smug part. Thinks too much of himself.

     

     

    Hindi movie. Not the Hindi of the towns and cities but straight out of the villages of Bihar and UP. Good movie. I would recommend the movie just for Raghuvir Yadav's acting and the attention to detail. It's a good satire in parts, but it fails in tying the story up properly.

    No one beats Rakhi Sawant. :giggle:

    I agree but the ending is in a way that some may like it some may not like it all. :good:

    Is Amir Khan in peepli live or is it just directed or produced or something by him? I cant stand him. Smug self righteous prick. So if he is getting screen time I cant be bothered to watch this.

    No. Amir Khan is not in the movie.Its just produced under his company .

    That's interesting. I'll check it out. I remember I would look at the news wires where there was real news happening that people needed to know, and instead we would sensationalise stories of kids falling into borewells and spend hours of airtime on it, inviting people to call in from all over the world to give their views. It kills you a little everyday.

    Hindi movie.Its presented in a somewhat comical way ...so it will make you laugh at times too. abt that kid falling in borewells i would say he was lucky to have got so much coverage or i dont think our government would have cared to send army and robots to help this kid come out .Poor kid would have died otherwise.

     

     

    Hindi Movie "An Aamir Khan Production" gonna check it out myself this week.

    I saw peepli live now....acha picture hai ...I enjoyed it. i dont know much to say abt it as its all about this stupid media ...it actually shows how in all that excitement to get more trps media forget the real small things happening right around them..We create sensation out of nothing and uske chakar mein real issues kaha chala jata hai kisi ko pata nahi...Watch it bhai log...its worth watching atleast once . :cheers:

    saw kill bill vol1 ...actually finished it one...saw half of it and then had to leave the tv for bro then again i saw other half today...what a fantastic movie. :majesty: zabardast action tha...aur that animation cutscenes were super awesome btw soundtrack toh class hai...during some of the fights the soundtrack was superb...very short movie but maja agaya. :majesty:

    saw some movies this week

     

    badmash company-acha time paas movie hai.

     

    once upon a time in mumbai-ajay devgan was awesome in that movie...simply awesome....others were ok...movie is good watch but i dont understand why directors actors deny it is based on haji mastan and dawood when clearly it is inspired by their stories .

    shame on them for commercializing someone's life story and then denying it. :thumbdown:

    Ueda and team Ico's lead programmer will also be present at CEDEC 2010. we might get some news from that event too. :kisstogether:

    :wOOtjumpy: its is on august 31st to 2nd september just saw...awesome...I really hope they announce team ico collection in any of these events .... also Sony TGS PC better than E3. :ack:
