I don't like Tapatalk at all. Might as well use the IVG Mobile web layout. I don't like the app's name either
@parvinder, ask Deathstryke. I think Lastpass and 1password are good bets. You can throw dropbox into the mix to aid with this.
I always use IVG mobile layout....works well for me.
About password storing apps, i DLed "Keeper Password & Data Vault" but hvnt tried it yet. 1password is with 14 days trial, and Lastpass didnt attract much.
@deathstryke: any pointers ??

Are ivgians using any group chat application? i mentioned WhatsApp few pages back, but i also came through this app called Kakao talk. Seemed nice.
Anyone else using it? Will share my ID if there are other who r using it.
Also i want an app in which i can store my pwds, codes and other confidential stuff which is secured with password. any pointers ?

Btw, how many of android ivg users are using WhatsApp application? I hvnt used it on android, but used it on symbian and thot it is a nice way to keep in touch with fraands.

I had DLed 2 apps for exchange emails on my android and failed to configure them.
Touchdown is not free (just 30 days trial) and tried K-9 but couldn't set it up.
May be im putting in incorrect details...... can someone help ?
Or may be some other nice microsoft exchange email app.

damn sony ericsson , aholes can't fix my K790i joystick because parts are not available now
I still havent' sold my k790i which i used some 3 years back. It is still an awesome fone with amazing camera, but only issue i had was JOYSTICK issue as u r having.
Tried to get it fixed but didnt work.

For the mail app, perhaps Exchange by Touchdown? Exchange for Android 2.x is the name on the Market. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.nitrodesk.droid20.nitroid I'm no expert on mail apps though.
For the browser, get Dolphin HD or Opera Mobile (not Mini) v11.
Get App2SD to be able to move certain apps to the SD card. https://market.android.com/details?id=com.a0soft.gphone.app2sd

Will try them soon.btw, what about pre-installed browser in galaxy. i opened ivg site and result was pretty decent. Opera 11 is certainly nice, used it on my n97 before.

Just got myself an android(Galaxy SL).
Please let me know about best apps from following which i can download from market:
1) Mobile Browser
2) Exchange Mail app to configure my outlook mails
Any other app which is a must have for me.
Btw, i DLed few apps and it is installing them on my phone, i want them stored on SD card, any pointers?
Haven't explored the fone completely.
But i must admit, Android is the best thing that ever happened to mobiles.

I don't think GB update is out yet for sl but you won't miss much between 2.2 to 2.3. For end users, it's mainly UI related things and some performance.. Not much features as such..
Samsung has stated that a Gingerbread update for the Galaxy S series is on the way. Dunno if it applies to the Galaxy SL as well though.
I read on some website that 2.3 has a better improved on-screen keyboard as compared to 2.2 version. It is so different since touch screen fones shall be more user friendly when it comes to typing on screen. and improvements in OS is for battery life also. Are these changes so significant ?

Guru ji, one more query. Galaxy sl comes with 2.2 froyo, is it upgradable to 2.3 gingrbrd. And also whats the diff btw these 2 flavours.

galaxy sl is your best choice. also check the original desire, it should be around 20k but it's a year old whereas the samsung one is 1-2 months old.

guys, suggest me a good android fone between 15-20k. Hv to gift it to my cousin, and he likes touch screen and is google fan.
I saw wave 2 in market and it looked awesome, but when i got to knw its not android, my heart broke. Damn. Galaxy ace is also thr but doesnt look gr8.
Any suggestions?

yeah but the other teams r not as good as last year, specially csk. The idea of including 2 extra teams was stupid. If they had to, then the tournament shld been kept short just like T20 world cup is.
Some teams in ipl are just minnows, making the league games more boring.

I tried confirming K9 for my exchange mail but couldn't succeed. I tried almost every configuration, but it didnt work out for me.
but the default gmail app works nice for me, no issues.
Damn, some suggest me a good tried and tested exchange mail app, default is not working for me.
and yes, keepass it is for me now.
