No visual upgrade is clearly there. You can see major differences in graphics. Remastered edition uses new assets and character models. I mean its not mind blowing or anything but looks better, way better compared to 360 version.
Performance is fine on my pc. By default its set to ultra and runs smooth but after few minutes, sound goes off and game crashes. Some audio issues. I experienced similar crashes on Xbox one X as well.

PC version crashes every 30-40 mins. It runs smooth on max but after few mins sound goes off and game freezes wtf.

They patched it multiple times since then. Its really good now.
As far as Gears 5 is concerned then i just ran few benchmarks, results were good but didnt feel like playing it again. I already completed it 3 times on One X including Iron man mode and insane lol and also played DLC twice on One X. So don't think i will be playing it again anytime soon

Played Fallout 3 for few hours (it was pirated version on friends jacked 360) but didn’t get the feel of it being new to RPGs back then
Played Skyrim for good bunch of hours & liked it a lot too but lost patience with no guidance as which direction to follow
Let’s see if I dig into Fallout 4 deep enough to care about this next title of theirs
Fallout on consoles is just bad experience especially without mods.
