If you compare it with Bethesda, it does seem a bit on the higher side. But you can't look only the tangibles. No one else has been able to crack the live-service formula as well as Bungie. And Destiny opens up a great avenue for movies etc for Sony. Destiny lore is quite interesting has a lot of potential.
If Sony is making a push for live-services, there is no-one better than Bungie to help them. And an added bonus is they might help get some decent 1st FPS on the PS5
sony doesn’t have a FPS or GaaS type game.. that’s why they paid a lot… -
