  1. There were hardly any good movies - they can be counted on one hand of a blind butcher.

  4. (500) Days Of Summer is a beautiful film about modern romances. Very well made without getting too emo. I liked it more than I like to admit or maybe it was the rum.

I don't know, just think of your exes and watch it alone. Presented in non linear fashion, what starts out as guilty pleasure transcends to moving cinema.

That said, your experience may vary. I wouldn't recommend it if you haven't been in a long relationship filled with gloomy and glorious moments with someone who you thought was the one.

Told entirely from the guy's point of view with generous doses of male sentiment, it's actually more of a d*ck flick, but definitely not the Judd Apatow kind.

saw the movie after reading your comment. had it on queue for a while now.

excellent movie. now, one of my favourites of 2009 (what an incredible year for hollywood :nono: )...great soundtrack too...and might i add if anyone enjoys love tragedies like (500) days of summer, do give "in the mood for love" (a brilliant movie by hong kong's finest film-maker (imho) wong kar wai) a watch.

    p.s.: loved moon too :chair:

p.p.s.: fans of coen brothers don't miss "a serious man"
