    I saw Ninja Assassin. Can I haz my hours back? Except for the action sequences there's absolutely nothing to recommend this movie. The first sequence is cool. I saw the end and the 'twist' coming a mile away.

     

    twist? there was a twist? :nerves:

    anyway, i thought it was worth it for the ninjas-coming-out-of-shadows moments :good:

     

    @karate-kid-pics: that kid definitely needs some self-defense lessons

    The reviews haven't been too kind to Morrison's recent Batman work, which is why I've stayed away from them :\

     

    So worth a read then?

     

    morrison's picked up the most ridiculous batman stories over the years and tried to make something convincingly presentable out of it all

    depends on you really...it might swing either way

     

    personally i liked the direction the whole RIP series took but hated just about everything else

    HOLY CRAP. Now I remember.. :)

     

    Sorry sorry, there IS some explicit sexual content!! There's an out-of-the-blue cut to Goebbels and the translator going at it. REALLY sudden, there was no way you'd expect to see something like that from how the conversation was going. I actually jumped a bit :dance:

     

    The scene is basically what Shosaana really thinks is happening between the two. Good stuff, mostly because it hits you like a saucepan to the crotch :D

     

    i didn't have a problem with the buggers taking out the violent bits...but they took out the nudity as well....NNNNNNNNOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

    there were scalped heads lying everywhere during the bear jew sequence...i thought if they can show that and hilter's face getting pumped with bullets...probably they respected the 18+ certificate...obviously even adults are meant to be spood fed

    So did any sections feel like they were butchered by the censors??

     

    nope...violence was 'kill bill' type...it was there but won't really make u flinch...its NOT the gory 'hostel' kinds

    i hate eli roth too...(he looked like a monster in this movie :P

    watched inglorious basterds...loved it :P

    tarantino at his best....brad pitt at his over-the-top best

     

    ...and violence is not that gory...dont let keyo's comments spook u

     

    p.s.: eli roth made an impressive entrance (well it wasn't exactly his first shot in the movie...but u'll know what i mean when u see it)...but the moment he opened his mouth it all went downhill for me :giggle:
