Yeah, that was not my point. I simply meant that companies always have positions open. So does the company I work for. It doesn't mean people aren't working on the product. Again, I already agree that the game will most likely come out quite late.

There are always exceptions. I bought mine specifically for 120hz. A lot of people will be looking to upgrade their displays this gen and from what I've seen online, a decent number of people will be upgrading to a high refresh rate TV/monitor.

So, let's put a timeline to some those things... 1. Halo 5 came out in 2015 2. 343 started work on Splispace in 2015/2016 3. X1X came out in 2017 4. XSX work began around X1X around 2016/2017 5. XSX design was finalised in (let's give them 2 years) in 2018. 6. "Infinite got rebooted again in 2018 when they got the mandate to make Slipspace work on last gen" So, we're saying that work on Slipspace started even before XSX and even though it takes quite a while to lock the feature set (for both the engine and console) they somehow managed to build an engine for nextgen? I'm not saying you're wrong but insiders are wrong A LOT of times. Here's what I think happened; it's much simpler to understand. They started work on Slipspace after Halo 5. That gives them 5 years to work on the engine and the game. They wanted to target the nextgen launch but they couldn't meet it since 5 years is too short a time for those 2 gigantic tasks.

I don't think they can even afford that. Cyberpunk is going sell crazy good. However, what they should at least try for is Cyberpunk on GP for only the XSX. That should be way cheaper to do and could really benefit them now.

Where did you read this? I don't think that's correct. 343 has themselves said that they were planning to create a new engine since they formed the studio because the engine at that time was already too old. They had to make do with that engine for 2 more games. Due to time crunch they postponed Slipspace till after Halo 4 but then had to postpone it further till after Halo 5. They always regretted this decision and decided to work on the new engine first so that they could use it for Infinite. That was always their target.

I'm pretty sure it was always an X1 title first. This is the only gen that has seen 1 Halo game (now).

I see what you mean by showpiece. I'm not talking about how it looked. So, no, it wasn't a showpiece title in terms of looks but it was in every other metric. PS - I'm glad it got delayed. Halo deserves a good launch. Especially after what happened to MCC.

That makes sense; everyone is different. I keep a AA rechargable station next to my console set up with 2 pairs of batteries ready to go. In fact, all my remotes and KBMs use rechargable AAA batteries. Personally, I absolutely detest sealed batteries. I prefer the DSLR/Mirrorless setup over everything else. The batteries are rechargable and replaceable in case you run out. It's the best of both worlds. I always carry a power bank and an extra battery when I go out for a photography session.
