  1. I'm talking about the X1 controller. Any standard micro USB to USB cable works. I think the controller still uses the radio instead of the cable connection though. I'm a little fuzzy on the details. Been a while since I read about it. PS - It could be the same for the 360 controller but I honestly don't remember. It's been like 7+ years since I used that.
  2. It's the same with the Xbox controller as well. You can connect it to the console and it works except it doesn't charge the batteries. Anyhoo, like you said, it has been discussed to death, by the same people everytime.
  3. I'd use Windows Mobile 10 anyday. With all the news about Windows 10 on ARM, I'm guessing they'll push for it in a couple of years or so.
  4. Easily. I did love the combination of Lumia Phones and Windows Phone OS. They're still my favorite pair till date. Too bad it didn't work out.
  5. Yes, of course. Mixer is the latest realty check.
  6. KI though. Followed that game for a couple of years. It had a great competitive scene! Don't know why they never released a sequel.
  7. Supposedly, it's the best balance between the standard D-pad and the round D-pad that come with the Elite controllers. That's what led them to create this.
  8. Oh right. I totally forgot that (even though I've completed the game).
  9. Ah! The world will open up as you complete missions. However, you can always go back to the previous areas. Was ROTR similar? I don't think so.
  10. They've always said it was semi open world. Actually, they've never directly addressed it. It was just websites speculating it'll be open world.
  11. ~33.5k I figured monitors with full HDMI 2.1 support will cost a bomb and I'm hoping a lot of competitive MP games (and platformers, fighting/racing games) will have 120fps support going forward (albeit at a lower resolution). Plus, Xbox has great support for lower resolution displays with respect to Super Sampling so that helped as well. I wanted to have VRR support above 60fps because there's a high chance games targetting 60fps will hit above that when framerate is unlocked. VRR will really help extract the best out of that. To your question regarding whether 2K will be enough...nextgen will be about 4K60 for the most part; actually 2K with reconstruction techniques pushing it to 4K. So if you don't care about the higher framerate, you should definitely stick to 4K60 with decent VRR (FreeSync) support.
  12. Gave in to the 120fps hype and ordered a 1440p 144hz monitor. BenQ EX2780Q.
  13. I was really hoping the September/October launch rumours were true. :/ Also, 1 year warranty on the controllers? That is quite nice! The ones right now only have a 3-6 month warranty, right? PS - Just checked. 90 days.

    I'm doing the same.

Man, this looked absolutely amazing! Can't wait to play it! PS - Those weapons!
  16. There's not much difference between the old and new controllers but yeah, maybe.
  17. If I'm not wrong, they already said via Twitter, like a month or so back, that they're not going to do the 20/20 format due to Covid. Pretty sure it was even discussed here.
  18. Early launch maybe? There were rumours floating around.
