Planing to use my current monitor for that. There's still time though. Will buy this one only when I get the XSX. Who knows what other good (& cheap) monitors will come out by then. Though I doubt that. Do you reckon it makes sense to buy it before the official consoles launches? Any idea if the prices of TV/monitors go up around that time in India?

They're completely different monitors though. The EL is a TN panel while the PD is a VA. I'd only recommend the EL to someone who's buying it for competitive gaming, very low response time (1 to 4 ms). The PD is better for every other scenario.

Decided to go for the BENQ EL2870U. I have the BENQ RL2455 right now which is basically It's 1080p version. Both are super fast! Had no idea the EL2870U even existed until yesterday.

They did say it's not an MMO but these days I take everything (MS related) with a grain of salt.

I thought it was pretty obvious that they're burning money right now to increase their subscriptions. I'm guessing most of their losses would be due to the $1 deal. They'll probably start making money once customers start (actually) paying. I expect the subscription cost of Ultimate to hit $20 in next-gen though.

I would do it as well granted the base game is solid and doesn't feel incomplete. That would be way better than waiting 5 years for the next game. I actually like the way Destiny does it and would play it more if it weren't for the endless grinds.

After Infinite, they should work on something of their own. Then come back to Halo after that. The Halo community is not full of psychos any more than any other community. Using that logic, half the TLOU fanbase is psycho. It's just that we only see the top 1% (or more) of idiots shouting on the internet. It's the same everywhere. That 1% is so vocal that it drowns out the rest. The rest usually don't bother with sh*t and keep quite.

There was a huge backlash for 4 and 5. 343 ultimately did what it wanted to do. While both Bungie and 343 pretended to care about feedback, they never bothered implementing it. 343 is bit better at incorporating feedback compared to Bungie though. Bungie was much worse at it; but that's only because they had the numbers. 343 has to be flexible because they have a limited audience in comparison. 343 will tell you they're doing it because fans want it but it's not like that. 4 and 5 failed because they tried their own things; because they were different from Bungie. 4 campaign was awesome but MP sucked and vice versa for 5. You only get so many chances. Now they've gone back to the original roots to get some fans back. That could work for them but that remains to be seen.

It's unfair to say that one side is more aggressive than the other. It probably seems that way because more people prefer PlayStation over Xbox. Percentage of crazies is the same everywhere and I'm not even Just talking about console wars.

I remember that weapon from Destiny. Remember reading how it made everything else unbalanced. Needler kills are so satisfying. Though completely useless against the Jackals. I used to rage everytime I fired at the Jackal; it would bring up the sheild and the needles would bounce back. It's the equivalent of a KLPD.

You play on the Xbox or PC? Liked his analysis. Pretty brutal and on point. Only thing is that he literally only talked about graphics (I get that why) and nothing else. Didn't even bother discussing gameplay for a gameplay video.
