  1. Who the f**k cares

Was sitting strong at 89 on meta & M$ boasting about it to boost sales

While polished f**ks like Destiny got the flack & didn't even get the credit which was due

If there is any time when it becomes really obviou$ then this is it

I know people who couldn't play Destiny for weeks because of the networking issues. Most of them couldn't play properly even after the networking patch. Personally, I couldn't even play most games during the first week because the servers would kick me out and throw those annoying as f**k animal error codes. Things improved for me post-patch but even then I've had to play the same missions so many times that it's not even a joke anymore.

Edit: Considering the game was online only, one of my friends sold off his game while the other had to get a new router (didn't fix anything) since they'd get disconnected from every match.

  2. Frankie on Dedicated Servers...

    We DO have dedicated servers.

First off and I will say this for the next hundred years SORRY we are fixing it. Its getting better slowly today and we expect that trend to continue, but what youre seeing currently is actually just an element of this complicated problem we do in fact use dedicated servers for matchmade games, but as an emergency contingency, MCC is designed to fall back to traditional peer-hosted gameplay in the event that there are connectivity issues with the dedicated servers. This can happen for a variety of reasons including intermittent unavailability of dedicated servers, poor ping times to the dedicated server datacenters, or network configuration issues that prevent you from being able to access the dedicated servers. Were busy getting stuff fixed and improved, and I promise you I will give you a full breakdown of what happened (and its multiple compounding things) after we fix it all. And Dan is going to update everyone on the situation and improvements later today.

And sorry for periods of radio silence, we're literally rushing around fixing stuff.

  3. My sharing partner also got the patch. Mine is still downloading so I can't confirm. But he said that his game has been downloaded completely. He is on India region too.

Edit : How to check if it's been downloaded though? By going into "Manage Game" right?

You mean he bought it from the India region? If yes then is he still on the India region?

In order to manage a pre-loaded game, I think you'll need to search the game from the store and then 'Manage Game'.

PS - If one were to download Halo: MCC right now (from the India region) he will get the full game.

  4. Patch is out everywhere I guess. Change power mode to power saving and restart console. Then change to instant on and turn xbone off. Patch should start downloading.

No one in India (that I know of) has gotten the MP update. And from what I've read off of Reddit, it's the same case with HK, TW etc.

Have you pre-ordered the game? If yes, then what region?

  5. India, it was 44GB something before.

Then no. The patch isn't out in India. So, no day 1 for you (or me) -- unless of course, if they release it tomorrow.

Instead of downloading the 15 GB on day 1, I'm planning to visit a friend and get the game from him.

Edit: The reason it's showing the 59 GB right now is because you're on a different region (US?) which has the patch.

  6. Users can create more gametypes using Forge right?

Forge is used to create maps. Gametypes are controlled from custom game settings. To answer your question, yes they can be created.

Game size showing 59.11GB so I'm guessing day one update is already done?

Ummmm, depends on where you bought it from. Region?

  8. Yeah it was PR.

I didnt know Chris puckett actually played competitive. I just thought he was the dude from all those top 10 plays videos.

    Today should be good.

Also Halo V beta gameplay tomm. HYPEGET!

Puckett wasn't in the team. Well, he was earlier, but then he backed out. And yeah, he's the same guy.

Great commentator, sucky Halo player. :P

    Halo 5

  9. Caught a few games of the ESL last night. Good sh*t. BTH wrecked I forget who. Shame they went with H2A for the championship. So they are limited to only 3 maps. :/

That must've been Purple Rain. That's a joke of a team -- they're all pretty bad players (non-pros) except for Gandhi who himself hasn't played competitive Halo in yeeeeaaars.

Thanks to forge, H2A should continue to be fun in the long run. If not, there's always H3. :D
