FPS Boost isn't a simple on/off switch. The games need to have certain pre-requisites for it to work. MS has said that they're exploring other (new) tricks to try and support it for more games but it isn't that simple.

True. I think they'll eventually change it though. They're probably testing waters in the first season. The preview wasn't a perfect test for the battle pass system.

because I've purchased dolby atmos for headphones license on XSX and that audio only comes thru 3.5mm on controller.
You can check the 'Using HDMI audio headset' option to send the Dolby Atmos effects over to the TV.

He's probably an idiot and doesn't even realise what he's saying. Sure, AoE4 is not available on the console but it's still an Xbox game. Similarly, God of War on PC is still a PlayStation game. Xbox/PlayStation are much bigger entities than what they used to be. They encompass studios, consoles, PC, services etc.

I was just spinning things coz it is brought into the picture as a spin altogether.
It has no meaningful existence in the console war space as it’s not a console game to begin with.
Basically any game that a publisher makes for it’s own platform be it hardware,software or virtual,can be categorised as First Party.

You are confusing platform with hardware. A platform is a much broader word. It can mean hardware and/or software. Similarly, PC is open and a much broader term; it encompasses a lot of platforms.
