    Series X UI and PS5 UI Analyzed/Benchmarked/Compared

-On average, the PS5 required 29.8% more input than the Xbox to complete a comparative task

-On average, completing tasks on the Xbox require 19% more 'significant screen changes'

-Xbox requires less input because its menus are more efficient. It's configured in a way that makes every day tasks easier to do

-Both the Playstation and Xbox lack empathetic design or any real onboarding, and they make hundreds of obvious UX mistakes

Thanks for sharing. This is quite interesting!

The steam preload has started, any of you downloaded it yet?

Sent from my KB2001 using Tapatalk

PSA: It's available to preload on the Xbox store as well.

120fps for 128 player Battlefield game?? Jeez, the thing people expects from a ₹50000 box.

It's not that far-fetched. The real test will be once the game is out and benchmarked on different CPUs.

PS - I know the dev said that it's CPU limited at the moment but the game is doing 64 players on shitty Jaguar cores so you never know what the future really holds.

I don't understand why people who don't want console wars and don't like performance analysis and micro analysis are commenting on the topic. Why don't you go to some other thread and discuss something else?

different people like discussing different things as per their interests. Nothing is stupid, it's just an interest

I personally love these comparisons for what they are, performance analysis videos. It just gets f**king annoying when fanboys start claiming agendas when it doesn't suit theirs. It is what it is I guess.

It wasn’t a comment meant to prove PS5 superiority.
But rather the flat & false claim of SX power.

Even if PS5 trades blows with SX either in games or ingame

the laughing matter is about false shilling going on about SX power.

I agree with you here. Most of the frame rate advantages in the games (either Xbox or PS) usually come down to these minor differences which could be chalked out to things other than the actual capability of the console. Regardless, it doesn't stop fanboys from claiming victories. It's pretty sad.

    Oh thx for the knowledge.

    Didn't  know that.

Though there seems to be a reason why they didnt bother to say nothing about it.

You have to go to percentile levels to see any significant difference ?

They never do. They only talk about resolution in the description and add statistics at the end. For all I care, they perform the same but some people (here) have argued otherwise in the past. :wink2:

VG said nothing about Performance Mode differences

They only noted the lowest recorded resolution in Quality Mode to be significantly lower than SX lowest.
They then go on to specifically mention that it was one of instance in an opening scene.

    (Which I already mentioned)

Rest of the game is like for like according to them.

    Read before you conclude:-

Pehle aap. VG Tech always mentions stats in their video. Right below the text you posted. The stats say that the performance is same across both with slight advantage for Xbox.

Yep they sell OS,Cloud Servers & many other unrelated softwares.
Many of these are used in games development.

Companies create games to make money, saying that they’ll put the entire end product up for free just cos they will be given free access to one component that went into development/usage is quite pointless.

Games only show up on subscriptions once they are duly paid for,the amount that they would have generated in revenues if a certain percentage of interested subscribers would have purchased it.

One has no correlation with the other.

True. It's quite a far-fetched idea. Even Sony has partnered with MS for Azure servers but that's nothing more than a business deal. Partnerships like these are quite common.
