I use ear buds I got with my phone, for multiplayer. They are terrible.
But I won't upgrade unless I get something that connects to usb port of my xbox.
No point in having decent hps and plug them into controller to waste their potential.
I do have the X1 chat headset. Will give that a go.

@Assassins Creed any chance we could get rid of the poll in this thread? It takes quite a bit of real estate in the mobile view.

Doing this for now. My monitor has been able to drive the HPS to very good levels; the controller on the other hand, not so much. I'll be switching over to my Astro A10 for multiplayer sessions. What do you use for a mic?

Xbox support for usb audio is sh*t. They took out optical out for this gen, least they can do is offer full usb audio support.
Just make sure HDMI audio extractor has 4k 60p support. I am not using it and instead have hps plugged directly into the monitor. For gaming I find it to be adequate quality.

Play at 120fps to minimise nausea and headache. Don't turn off the tutorials; it'll give you important tips about the weapons and defeating different enemy types. Eventually you'll need to practise quickly switching between multiple weapons to take enemy down quicker.

Stopped playing after a couple of days after launch. Will give this another (last) go after the next-gen update drops. I haven't been tracking the updates; I'm hoping it'll be a good experience this time around.

During the Craig debacle, fanboys were using TLOU "bullshots" for comparison. A couple of people from IVG were doing the same. There are no shortages of idiots in the world.
