The cheapest boss fight tactic in Dark Soul's is
the first time you meet Seath the Scaleless. He is kinda immortal in the first fight and you have to die for the story to continue.
So if you have a lot of Soul's and do not know about this then you lose all of it and also get cursed.

Been playing PvP for the past two days (Joined Darkwraith Covenant) and it is great fun.
Getting a person to invade does seem to take a long time though (about 2-3 mins).
Finding it tougher to kill some of the high level players than the bosses in the game.

Getting my a*s handed to me in NG+ at the Four Kings boss fight.
Want to join the Darkwraith covenant, so killed Sif, which was pretty easy.
Have tried the four kings boss fight abt 15-20 times and still not able to beat them (was able to beat them at first attempt the first time).
Able to get the life down to 90% and then get killed.
Any ideas?

Yeah, I never used the Drake Sword. Just kept upgrading the Battle Axe or the axe you get initally and it served me all the way to the end.
Finished the game just now. Pyromancer seems like a 'Get out of Jail card.'. Once I ascended or the thing you do after +15 to the pyromancer glove, everything became easy. Even the boss fights were easy.
In NG+ are the bosses tougher or the same?
Any use of playing it again (Not interested in trophies)?
Edit - lol, looks like the bosses are the same, atleast Asylum Demon. Was able to take him down in 5 seconds using Pyromancy in NG+.

What soul level are you? I would not recommend fighting Sif early on, I think that if you found Depths to be difficult then probably you are not ready for the Sif fight yet. If you still wish to fight him then the best thing to do is to stay under him, when he swings get in a hit or two. Avoid/block his double spinning attact each time.
Killed him easy after 3-4 tries.
Just had to keep moving away from him and after 30-45 seconds he jumps on you and you stay under him. Am a pyromancer, so used combustion and fireball on him (when he jumps on you).
Was able to reduce his life to almost 75% just using fire. Then kept waiting for him to jump on me and hacked away using my axe. Took a long time, but turned out to be pretty easy.
Also went to depths immediately and was able to kill Gaping Dragon also.
Tried all the boss fights when I was around lvl 35 and found it difficult. So leveled to around 55 in Darkroot garden/Basin and then was able to kill Hydra, Sif and Gaping dragon easily.

Got my a*s kicked around in the Depths, so decided to go to Darkroot Basin/Garden.
Killed the Butterfly, Hydra and a couple of Knights, but not able to kill the big wolf.
Any idea on how to kill that thing. I am a pyromancer with a beefed up axe.
Tried hacking at it a few times, but it keeps jumping away.

Am still stuck in Gaping Dragon level. Anyway the main issue is I got cursed and am stuck with half HP.
Anyway to remove the curse while in the Depths. That place is like a maze and not able to get out.

Couldn't kill the Capri Demon initially...so leveled up to 36 and put bumped up my strength and was able to kill him easy.
Anyhoo, the Depths is like a fukin maze. Fell into some sewer drains and found a Bon Fire by fluke.
Luckily it is pretty close to the dragon and am currently stuck trying to kill it.

Yeah, the grinding part is getting boring. Need to do two-three runs through Undead Burg and Parish for just one level.
Anyhoo, once I get the Drake Sword is there any point in shooting arrows at the Dragon? Does it drop any additional weapons/armor/souls?

Am around lvl 33 or 34. Thought maybe I will level up to to 40 and then try that Capra Demon again.

How do I kill the Capri demon? That dude wields two weapons and keeps hitting. Not able to even kill the dogs with him.
Can I go somewhere else level up and then come back and kill him?

Killed the magic dude in the lowest level of Undead Burg and got some stealth ring.
Got an Assassin Creed like icon below my health/stamina bar.
Am just killing anyone I find except merchants. Hope it does not screw up anything down the line.

I killed the knight (Friendly one who gives some stuff that can be used Online or something) we get to meet after killing the Taurus Demon. Is he of any use at all (Nothing I can do now though)?
He did drop some useless talisman, shield and stuff though.
Also, is there any place where we can sell items for Souls? Got a lot of Junk with me.

Hit the tail of the dragon abt 30-40 times with a cross bow and got the Drake Sword. Don't seem special though. Upgraded a Battle Axe to Battle Axe+5 and it does more damage than the sword.
Also can I kill the dragon by shooting Crossbow Bolts at it? Does it drop any thing good?
Anyhoo, killed the Gargoyles and rang the bell on top of the Castle. What next, do I need to kill the lightning demon near the Blacksmith and then move on?
Also found a lift in the same building as the Gargoyles that takes me somewhere underground?
So which route do I take?

So been playing this for the past few days and boy do I suck in this game. My character must have died a few hundred times already.
Anyhoo, the Taurus demon got tired of killing me and committed suicide by falling of the bridge.
Then reached the bridge which the dragon sets on fire. Could do nothing there so just ran under the bridge and reached near some boar demon.
Tried killing it a few times and got killed in turn, so entered Undead Parish. Am stuck there currently.
Can't go back because the boar kills me off. Tried going to the roof, but not able to kill the gargoyles.
Tried going beyond the Blacksmith in Undead Parish and there is some lightning demon in the way.
So is the only way forward is to grind and level up and try killing at least one of the demons?
Am still at level 22.

Yeah, got the game. But Airtel's FUP kicked in and the download is damn slow.
Hopefully should be done with the download by Weekend and can start playing from next week.

...was struggling with the Taurus demon for about an hour today and the f***** decides to fall of the bridge while I was dodging and got only 1000 souls

So chose pyromancer or someone like that (the one that gets to shoot flames) and killed the tutorial boss the first time I met him. Got the hammer but cannot use it as Strength required is '46'
and am still at 14 or 15.Anyway getting owned by the Taurus boss...been already killed about 20-25 times. Used the fire and brought his life to almost nothing just once and then fell of the edge

Got an email from them saying my Order was also dispatched.
Sent them a mail with the Tee Size as soon as I pre-ordered, hopefully will receive the correct size.

Rift is available today for 7.5 (10 for Collector Edition). Anybody playing it of late?

Finally the match is over. (Arseanl 1 - Udinese 0)
The midfield and Chamakh seriously suck. The whole game was so Un-Arsenal like, kept giving away possession.
Fortunately the defense and GK were good. Two more casualties in this match (Gibbs and Djourou off with injuries).
