It doesn't actually activate or deactivate at that framerate, its always on. LG says its more effective at 40+ and others say 48+. Those are for native 4K and these TVs can't do LFC and frame doubling at native 4K. If you check the specs they all support minimum 20fps VRR at 1440p and 1080p. I think the latest LG model does support LFC at 4K but I'm not sure.

Yes anything above 40fps will benefit from it. Considering how many games run in unlock mode but fail to reach 60fps, VRR is as much of a game changer as G-sync is. You don't need VRR for 30fps because as it is the latency is pretty high so you don't lose anything by having a v-sync on.

Disney spent $4B on an entire fking Star Wars. Nadella wishes he had that kind of bargaining power. -
HDMI 2.1 is required for VRR which is way more important than 120fps. Personally I won't be buying my next TV without VRR.

Resolution is not everything. Texture quality, lighting, AA, assets, RT, post processing effects etc. You could run HL2 at native 4K but it won't look as good as next-gen games at 1080p.

Xbox, PS2 and GC. That's how long MS has been charging for online

Prices in India are out of whack for everything. For eg its cheaper to just buy Gears 5 and Ori 2 from steam than subscribe to play them for 2 months.
-
Messaging is important. For eg they jacked up the price of XBL Gold by a lot by removing annual option, but you won't hear a peep about it from media or the fanbase. Instead you keep repeating what's great about everything else, let your fanbase keep repeating it, surround yourself with insiders and influencers that also repeat it, and there you go. Now nobody knows that GP costs 2x as much as PSNow and XBLG costs 1.5x as much as PS+, but everybody knows that Sony jacked up next-gen games by $10. This is why messaging and PR is important.

The messaging, its pretty great.

I like how it comes and goes in waves, or like a pendulum that keeps swinging. Can't wait for next-gen to launch and get this sh*t over with. Sony has shown 17 games running directly on PS5, MS has shown 2 on XSX (one current gen). Don't think Sony cares, their priority will always be games first (like Nintendo) and rest of the fluff later.

Mine says 12 Nov so not launch just probably means not on launch day exactly. -
How hard is it ND?

VPN can bypass region but can't break the speed of light The latency would be so bad it would be completely unplayable.

There was time when 6 people with OP and catalyst could stand in a well and melt raid bosses. But then Bungie in typical Bungie fashion nerfed nanite stacking and damage. Still get it just because that mission is pretty cool, especially code solving for the catalyst.
-
Yeah it's a pretty good combat system. Somehow they managed to combine real time with turn based without ruining either.
-
If they make one, its not going to be $20 when PS4 version is still $60.

It will get locked. Although I dunno if going offline trick works.

You already have a trailer of what happens when Sony buys an exclusive character in a shitty Gaas game like Avengers, don't have to wonder about what'll happen if they locked down entire publisher. Jim Sterling would be on his fourth video by now. -

I could introduce you to some twitter handles of bots, some of them RT'd by even Greenberg if you want more toxicity. There's even one who was invited by Spencer to Xbox events who was later banned by twitch and youtube for being a racist homophobe. Many of these bots showed their homophobic a*s during TLoU2 launch. -

Hopefully they find a new guy to lead Zenimax. Dude is a lawyer who was caught defrauding investors in US banking and settled out of court for $5M. Dunno how these people manage to get CEO positions in gaming companies. -
There is one on CD Keys for 3.1k, but its for Belgium. I'm 99% the code works with all PAL territories (incl India) but don't quote me on it.
