Managed to get 4 map fragments so the map is huge now, get weapon to +4, total 8 flasks with +2 level (so full health recovery), level 3 wolf summons and dude at level 25. I think finally I can start the game and start beating some bosses
-
The very first boss with multiple arms and a shield. You have to start a new game every time you die.
-
Almost beat the first boss but fker pulled a brand new attack at the last moment Sucks that you can't retry him again without creating another save file from the start.
-
Yeah I want that shield, that's why I'm starting with Samurai. and doing this strat. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/1303183378?t=2h55m30s
-
How did you beat the first boss? Samurai arrow spam? Because the boss is intentionally very hard, you're suppose to die to him for story reasons. You don't even have healing potions yet.
-
There is a standard parry too which automatically leads to critical hit like Bloodborne.

PlayStation vs Xbox vs Nintendo thread
CarbonCore replied to kmkaks's topic in News, Rumours and Discussions
Imagine using a game that actually runs better on PS5 to sh*t on another PS5 game Also how the f**k does SX still keep holding that L when it comes to multiplatform performance? Wtf happened to all those teraflops? -
Why? You can play it on PS4.
-
Like I said, easy mods exists on PC, usually made and balanced by one person. It doesn't breach the artistic integrity or soil the holiness of the developer vision for the rest of the Soulsbros.
-
There was a time when having a map and quest markers was looked down upon by the Souls community. And now look at Elden Ring
-
Do it like Ninja Gaiden did, you have to wear a pink ribbon and your NPC girlfriend will taunt you for playing on easy difficulty.
-
Yes I get that, but my question is, as someone who's playing on lord Miyazaki's intended difficulty, why do YOU care? This was also my question to people bitching about Returnal's mid-save patch. Why the fk you care if someone is able to save mid-game? Play like you always played.
-
Don't worry, these devs are talented enough to pull off multiple difficulties. Most indies pull off this basic feature. No need to get furious
-
Yeah some people might enjoy that. Why would Souls bros be bothered by that? They can continue to git gud in their own game.
-
GoT automates the duels on easy and DMC automates most of its combos. I'm pretty sure that's not the intended way by the developers to play their games But I'm glad there's a choice.
-
Most games are designed around default difficulty, Soulsborne isn't anything special in that case. Dropping difficulty to easy in most games results in unsatisfactory gameplay, but its a choice for people who can't progress with default setting. And I'm not bothered by that because it doesn't matter to me. There are easy mods on PC for all Souls games, and there will be more for Elden Ring. And they perfectly reside in the same universe as lord Miyazaki's envisioned non-moded game without breaking the space-time fabric.
-
Why do you care what other people do with their difficulty setting? Play the game like you normally play, let others do what they want. More difficulty options never harmed anyone. Gatekeeping is seriously one of the worst traits of Soulsborne community.

DF doing the video after day one patch is applied.
-
You could always go back and grind in all From soft games. In ER you can go back, forward and sideways too. Earn better loot, better weapons, magic runes etc, come back and beat the boss.

It'll add a lot of people to Legends, takes a while to find people currently.
