Kojima should stay away from Silent Hill, or any other game for that matter. He's destined to only work on Metal Gear games for the rest of his life. If he wanted to work on something else he would've left Konami and formed his own studio like other big names in JPN industry.

Mikami never disappoints, I fully trust his choices about gameplay even if they look weird and out of place at first glance. Just read the first and last 10 pages of Vanquish thread and you'll see what I mean.

Have to yet catch Mission to Mars.
Brilliant movie (despite what imdb rating says), not Palma's best work but its up there. I remember this and Red Planet coming out at the same time, and despite having similar premise, the two movies couldn't have been more different.

Yeah I personally never use MSAA unless there's no other option, too expensive for what you get in return.

Truly an ignorant post if I ever saw one. Games like bf4 are just there on last gen for the sake of it. Half the player count, half the frame rate, gimped textures, gimped fking everything. And most of it is true for every cross gen game. Ultimately its not even the same game anymore. Same for ryse and dr3. Or do you think that just because it's 720p 360 would be able to run it in the same vein the bone does? Bravo if you do.
So "can't be done in a million years" is equal to "oh you can, just drop the resolution, fps and player count to half".
Cool, although if you drop DR3 res and fps to half it'll skip one gen and be a fking PS2 game with worse framerate, so I kinda get why its not possible on 360.

tum log koi bataya nahi ha....i ended up seeing two movies...Juno and Frozen. Both Decent. JUno was quite short and cute....no comedy though . I dont know why it was in romatic comedy section of IMDB.
Watch Silver Lining Playbook, I just watched it yesterday. Brilliant movie, JLaw is amazing as always, but I never thought Brad Cooper could act without going loud (haven't seen American Hustle yet). Definitely worth watching twice.

Finally, the last part in bold, I can say with confidence that I don't know a single movie that succeeded doing that alone. I'm genuinely interested to know of one such specimen out there. Yeah, it would be great to see a cool flick completely grounded in currently proven theories, based on solid concepts with absolute proofs, but I reckon it wouldn't be as much fun.
Well there aren't that many sadly but off the top of my head, I'd say Mission to Mars and Sunshine, probably because they're set in near future instead of being in different century. MM even touches upon one of the most controversial theories about origin of humans on Earth.

Yeah everyone knows Ryse was 360 kinect title before it was moved to Xbone. And lol@ DR3 not being possible on 360, there's basically nothing on current gen consoles right now or in near future, neither PS4 nor bone, that isn't possible on last gen. If you can get BF4 and Watch Dogs and mofking Destiny to run on PS3, I dunno what's special about a 720p30fps launch game.

Waveking... relax bro. Naughty Dog probably spent some time developing the PS4 port for this game, and they think people will pay $60 for the additional content/improvements. They are a business and will want to make as much profit as they can. If people don't think the game is worth $60, then people won't buy it. If people don't by the game, ND will learn the lesson that the improvements they've made aren't worth the price. They will react accordingly for their next game/port. and either add more value or reduce the price or just not make a port at all.
Currently no. 4 on Amazon bestsellers and no.1 in all console games, looks like people don't mind full priced remaster.

Like I said for most people buying LoUHD, its a brand new game because they never owned a PS3. Besides you still can't find a new PS3 version cheaper than $30, Add the cost of season pass and you almost reach the value of remaster. Yeah sucks for people who already bought it but its not meant for them.

Free or not, that wasn't my point. I meant that we are going to see more remasters (on both platforms) whether we like it or not.
And its good that they offered it for free if you already own the ps3 version. That's how a remaster should be treated. Either give a viable upgrade option or offer some other incentive (like a lower price). TLOU remaster on the other hand smells like a crash grab.
Oh I would love it if they're free, completely negates the point of 'milking'. And like Druckman said, they made it because people asked them for it, and most of those requests came from people who never owned a PS3. So you either buy a PS3 + game + dlc for $300 something or get a superior version for $60, not the same as TR cash grab.

I dont have ps4 but is there any offer and all to upgrade to free...i rather use that offer before it expires.
Dunno about disk version, probably not due to technical reason I guess.

Forgetting Flower are we? Not even a year has passed and already 2 remasters on PS4. More will be coming, it is inevitable. Expect journey, uc trilogy remasters soon. And as for PSNOW, I feel it would only be limited to playing a handful of games that nobody cares about.
Flower is free if you own last-gen version. I don't think anyone ever gave a next-gen version completely free if you own last-gen version.
