    Bioshock did a perfect job of the loot system for survival since u get most of the bullet from the loot

     

    so i think that would be perfect for this game as well since this is on the same ground only that its on the land :P

     

    Yeah looting and proper inventory system.

    I'd be surprised if its fundamentally too different from Uncharted which already has all the basic elements required for survival action like great melee system, amazing lighting and atmosphere, shitty aiming controls etc. All they need to do is change the mood and reduce the pacing a bit.

    ^^ I don't think we'll have lot of scripted events and set pieces in this one, I read somewhere on this thread its open world .... also, too many scripted events spoil the whole theme of survival horror !

    Its not an open world game. Maybe branching paths and some exploration, but not 'go anywhere, do anything' sort.

    From plot and story point of view? Yes it does, big difference. These guys might be looking for a cure like Robert Neville, you can't cure zombies/undead.

    "Supernatural (of a manifestation or event) attributed to some force beyond scientific understanding or the laws of nature"

     

    In that sense zombies in Dead Space or Siren or SH are supernatural, but not those in RE or I am Legend. Plus these guys in LoU aren't zombies, they're just infected with Cordyceps, not undead.

     

     

    Science fiction maybe, not supernatural.

    on the bright side, now that they're making a full game out of the supernatural rubbish they keep shoehorning into the uncharted games, there is a possibility that uncharted 4 will not have any of that bullshit :thumbsup:

    But its not the supernatural stuff, they even have two live action teasers trying to explain the whole thing.

    Enslaved probably has the most beautifully crafted post-apocalyptic world..

    the fanboy meltdown in this thread is quite amazing. don't think we've had so much fun in a specific thread in quite some time :lol:

    The meltdown is usual affair in PS3 exclusive thread, the amount of trollbaiting however is phenomenal even for a PS3 exclusive thread, kinda reminds me of the early MGS4 time.

    i hope there's no embargo. very interested to see what it plays like.

    Going by the trailer it looks more like a survival horror (counting bullets) and more melee oriented, like SH2 with UC3's animation, graphics and melee combat.

    IGN spoke to Sony about what was happening at Studio Japan, and while Sony was light on specifics, they do have good news for those worried that the production of The Last Guardian is in trouble. "Ueda-san is in fact under contract," Sony told IGN, "and is committed to completing his work on The Last Guardian."

     

    While this is great news, it still leaves even more questions about what specifically caused this apparent rift between Sony, Ueda and Hayima, though we will update as we learn more.

     

    He isn't going anywhere until TLG is finished.

    Thats not funny, some people do have higher standards. They'd rather play 1 super-seller game 10 times than play 10 different games from different genres that barely made profit.

     

     

    Also the trailer somehow makes me want to go back and finish Dead Nation, anyone up for co-op on XBL?

    I'm happy for yall. It seems you were eagerly waiting for a zombie/infected action ps3 exclusive this generation.

    Thanks ND for being the Santa on this Christmas. :)

    But is this exclusive worth playing if it doesn't chart on NPD? Thats the real question.

    lol, it looks lik both of them are looking at each other...

    Drake one of the zombies confirmed :P

     

    I wouldn't be surprised if he makes a cameo in LoU considering how UC3's world is already getting infected by fungus.
