Its not about Horizon. It is well known by this point that any PS5 news drives crazy traffic, so I don't blame people jumping on it, especially when Sony is providing free ammo. Austin farmed over 2 million views in a week with two clickbait PS5 videos, this is the current reality of media.

There's some expensive collector's edition that don't include the game at all. Their idea is to give you collector's items without locking you into specific platforms.

You can also charge them inside the battery compartment. This is the best of both worlds. This is my go to controller on PC.

The problem with DF is that they bit more than they can chew. They have a large patreon base and they have to constantly feed them videos. Three videos a week is insane work for 4 guys considering they have to also play the games on multiple platforms. I'm in a discord with dark1x (DF retro guy) and he basically stopped doing comparison videos because the pressure was too much.

Which are those mistakes? Even in the Redout case his video was up at the same time as DF, and he caught the correct resolution. Dude has the luxury of working on one video for weeks unlike DF, so he catches a lot of stuff missed by DF crew.

DF almost got sued by Redout developer for telling wrong resolution
They apologized and made a new video. After that they stopped saying outright what resolution it is and say stuff like "we found lowest res to be xyz in our testing but it could be lower". Even one man show like NXG didn't fk up this bad

Honestly blows my mind how people handwave 30% revenue, especially when profit margins are below 10%. The drive costs 15 fking dollars, there's no scenario where dropping physical is a net win unless its something like 98/02 split between digital and physical.

All digital only consoles have bombed so far and the only reason PS5 DE sells is because its PS5. I would love to know which console maker will commit the seppuku first by launching just digital only console next gen.
