    If he does whats written above and doesn't win trophies then he will surely be out next season.

     

    BTW Downing is closer to being an Arsenal Player.

     

    Downing can go to pool, if we can get Mata for 23 mill somehow, that would be a great signing

    Wenger made it pretty clear in his interview that he will be signing only 1-2 players :( ..... is this what he meant by "being active"?? As for Left Back, he said that Gibbs would replace Clichy. Wow, surely we are just aiming for a top half finish next season :wallbash:

    Even the most deluded arsenal hater wouldnt post that line-up when we clearly have RvP, Djourou, Ramsey, Walcott and Song.

     

    And also, Gibbs has almost always played better than Clichy. Its just he always, ALWAYS, gets injured after 2 games. Which is something we cant tolerate for our first choice LB.

    I am sure that lineup was posted more out of frustration on Wenger re :bigyellowgrin: .... and Gibbs is not so good defensively but neither was Clichy in his last few seasons. The problem is that Wenger would come up and say that we have a lot of internal replacements as he counts Song as a defender as well, and he is capable of putting Eboue at LB as well :wallbash:

    wenger :ranting: .... did "being active" mean that he will let every important squad member leave and replace them by more youngsters or some unknown french ligue players. Happy for Clichy though, he would fit in well with an already strong defense of City but what about us Wenger bc :ranting: . I think he is going to replace Clichy with Gibbs/Traore who are even worse than Clichy :( . And why arent we looking for a good experienced GK, Sczesny did well last season but you need an experienced GK to do well in EPL, or is it that we are going to see Almunia flapping around again :fear:

     

    Pre-season training is about to start and we are nowhere near to signing any CBs/ forwards/ Cesc replacement and here we are at the brink of losing our main players :cry: . Someone in another forum posted this possible Arsenal lineup for our next season :suicide:

    I think we are being too harsh on Nasri here .... Cesc & Nasri are too good not to be winning any trophies when they are in their prime, not that I compare these two players as they are much different. He certainly had a better season than Cesc and 110k a week is not too much by Nasri's standard considering that players who are inferior to him talentwise get much higher paychecks at other clubs. And its not like we are winning trophies or look anywhere near winning one, sadly Wenger is making this club to a feeder club where youngsters want to showcase their talent for a few years and then move to major clubs where they can actually win trophies.

     

    It is Wenger who has to go but sadly he will stay here and we will lose our best players this summer :(. I think we would end up buying some players from the French Ligue 1 like Hazard etc., not expecting any good signings from the EPL. Just hoping that Spurs lose Modric :P , otherwise they have a good chance of overtaking us next season :cry:

    I think Chelsea should stick with Ancelotti. He has been doing pretty well for them.

    ya I dont see why Chelsea would want to replace him... OTOH there is not the slightest talk of having wenger being replaced :wallbash: .. his youth project has failed miserably and I would prefer to see someone who can tighten our defense
