A popular restaurant nearby my place was giving it to their staff twice a day as a prophylaxis. It was operating dine in service illegally is another point of debate.
They packed some 4 tablets for my friend and I with our take away order
still got it in my car as it has ashwagandha. Left it just in case I need something for anxiety.

Seeing that he has got second life, he has decided to give out his tech for free.
I can’t speak about it but Yes, it will be revolutionary and he said it will be my gift to India, to help it become 5T economy and to everyone who wants to bring change. He could do better by selling that tech and use the proceeds to do better.
Bill gates and Warren buffet are doing what they do best and using that money to eradicate polio and what not in this world.

No idea why so less testing. Yesterday was Monday so usually it's less testing but this number seems too low. Yesterday Flipkart guy came to my house with mask on his throat. What a f**king moron.
Believe it or not everyone doesn't have covid19. That's the mantra and reality we have to live with now. With this 2nd and 3rd wave going around I have lost hope.
-
Testing is a joke now. Just freaking 1027 tests in Pune on 26th.
Dunno if the lower testing is really due to lower actual/real cases. Case positivity is still above 10% as per this.

Testing has not reduced. They are testing the same numbers (on papers).
They are doing manipulation at a level that we yet to understand.
Maybe they are taking multiple swabs of confirmed covid negative people.
I would not be surprised if that is correct.

Maharashtra only 4k new cases and no new cases in mumbai or thane.

Even china would be proud of such number fudging.
Such tactics would make things even worse when corona infected turn up and spread the virus around. Low testing = low contact tracing.
There was a corona positive case in my parent's society. The whole family was inside their home but I heard that a male from the family used to step out for shopping. Such is the public.

Home made ghee is the best ghee. We also make it as much as possible.
Yes mate. Has such a lovely sweet smell. Can't have the package stuff anymore. But we make ghee only cuz the white butter starts getting bitter in 5 to 6 days. I cook everything in white butter only and ghee is used in case I am not eating the item to be cooked in ghee or occassionally.

Yo never realized Paneer could easily be made at home. Will try it next time I get the chance!
It is as easy as boiling water bro with zero scope of error. All you got to do is to add either lemon, or whey or vinegar to boiling milk and wait for it to properly curdle. It is ready as soon as water and paneer get separated until then keep boiling then filter the paneer trough a handkerchief. Do whatever you want with the water which is mostly whey protein and can be consumed.
Shape your paneer in a square or rectangle on the handkerchief and fold & cover the paneer in it.
Put a "chakla" type heavy item on that cloth and wait for few minutes. This step is very important if you want to make a dense and cube type paneer. heavier the item the better.
Being a punjabi i have known how to make paneer, white butter and ghee since a very young age.
we are preparing homemade ghee as I type.

has anybody purchased TV from Flipkart?
it mentions "Open Box Delivery available". Should i get it opened to check when it gets delivered? or should i wait for the installation guy ?
I guess they have started this open box thing to avoid instances of fraud. They open the box infront of you to show you the item you've order is actually inside and then you share an otp or so. They have been doing this for TVs atleast since last year. I ordered two TVs last year and they opened em on delivery.

How tf is this relevant to this thread? Take this to ask the experts thread.
Dude nothing personal against you, please stop spamming off topic comments in this thread especially during online sales.
I am pretty sure many people on ivg will be watching this thread during sales and seeing OT posts here is very frustrating.
Dude imho you are the one who is spamming. Who are you to ask anyone to leave? and that to a person who is a regular part of discussion on this forum. Not cool bro.

keeping a glass of water with pizza helps with microwaving it ? interesting .... also, do share good recipe for homemade burgers if you've any .... i'm veggie so , only veg burgers ....
Make a mixture of boiled potatos. Be creative with the ingredients.
Roast and properly dry some bread on tawa on low flame and grind it in a mixer.
Make tikkis out of your potato mixture and cover it with the bread crumbs.
Shallow fry the tikkis golden brown. If you deep fry then ensure that the oil is super hot otherwise your tikkis will break if the oil is not hot enough.
Tandoori sauce from wingreens goes best with this type of veg burger. Put a tablespoon of it on the bun.
Put a slice of onion and tomato and half a cheese slice.
Use English Oven burger buns if they are available near your place. They supply burger buns to Mc Donalds.
Long story short.
Sauces are the soul of burgers. You find the right one and you will never eat a burger from outside. In my case it is the tandoori sauce from wingreens.
Can't believe that pre covid it used to be on 50% discount all the time. now I hardly find it anywhere.

are you reheating in microwave or stove ? I'm wondering how can you reheat pizzas / burgers ? will it not become worse ?
I don't have a microwave so I heat everything in an almost flat bottom kadhai and close the top. Non cheese burst Pizzas infact turn out even better. I find pizza hut pizzas to be a little undercooked anyway but have to order from there as i regularly get pizza hut vouchers from my card company.
In a microwave just keep a glass of water while heating the pizza.
I don't like outside burgers so we don't order em anyway. Home made burgers are the best of you know the sauces to use

Been having different types of outside food for the last two months. Ensure you only touch the pack with your hands and the same doesn't come in contact with any other surface and heat the food and have it. Work as a team with a family member. One handles the packing and other handles the food. Wash your hands and eat after heating for 5 to 10 mins.

XL6 is the same size as Ertiga, right ? It's basically an Ertiga with a tad nicer exterior and interiors.
yes they are the same cars but xl6 got some different extra features. just that Ertiga has a taxi image. I wouldn't buying one if i were in the market xl6 is for people who would wanna shun the taxi image of ertiga.
In XL6 you get captain seats in the middle row making it a 6 (5+1) seater. Ertiga's middle row is a 3 seater making it a 7 (6+1) seater. XL6 has cruise control and Ertiga does not have it.
I paid 1.2 lacs extra to get a better variant with cruise control in my latest car keeping in mind that some really great highways are coming up in India in the next 3 to 4 years. In my opinion it is a must have in cars if you intend to keep it for 10 years and drive a lot like I do. All my cars do at least 3 to 4 Pune-Ajmer/Jaipur/Delhi drives along with a lot of other nearby highway drives during the ownership period and it is not going to change.

Any recommendations for a car in the sub 10L (ORP) range ? Not a fan of sedans.
I'm preferably looking for a 6 seater, and the only viable options possibly are Triber or Ertiga/XL6.
Triber's engine is very underpowered and very harsh IMO. I rode in the Ertiga taxi in Delhi in Feb and after back to back commute in innova crysta and new fortuner found ertiga as smooth as crysta on greater noida and delhi roads.
I would recommend XL6 to beat the taxi image associated with Ertiga.

Thing is MS had ~25k New cases on 24th Sep and within 10 days they are down by 10k to 14k per day. This 10k is making all the difference in over all India tally. So I'm taking it with a pinch of salt.
52 minutes ago, Right said:We are at Sep 09 level, as far as active cases are concerned.
MH down to 10k, jholam-jhal.
Test count dropped from 8 or 9 k per day to 1800. There is no flattening of the curve. Guess we dont want to be no1 in case counts.

Had Tuna abroad. Loved it. Never tried it here because I heard that its some weird variation of Tuna.
Never tried Basa because I read that it swims in shallow polluted waters (which is why its plentiful and so cheap) which makes it toxic.
You are talking about the imported basa from Vietnam. We have stopped importing basa long ago. Even though it is a fish that can survive in really bad water conditions. What we now get is basa farmed in dams and rivers across India

Had the misfortune of ordering some raw tuna steaks today. f**k youtube. The reddish fish looked really appetizing.
f**king horrible taste and smell. Palate completely ruined. Will stick to Basa only.
You are not supposed to eat the part of tuna close to the bone that is darker in color bro.
It has a very strong flavor. It is not bad for you just that it tastes horrible.
And yeah even I eat basa only. It is lovely and much better than a lot of other fishes available. It's ample in supply so doesnt cost much but for some reason people think that since it is cheap it must be bad.
