I think Mafia 2 is supposed to be a remaster. So there's a high chance that that's actually legit. Only Mafia 1 will be a full remake.

Oh man, that sequence was so f**king awesome! Just thinking about it is giving me chills. You know whatever you're doing is futile and yet you try your darnedest to save them because the story actually made you care (unlike in GOW3 where you didn't give two shits about whatever was happening). Even the background score in that sequence was epic. And of course, by the time the Ares boss fight ensues, you want nothing more than to f**k his sh*t up!

Even though the boss fights in this don't quite match the ones in GOW3 in scale, I thought this was a much better game overall. Maybe an unpopular opinion, but I personally think GOW3 is the weakest of the mainline GOW games. For me, GOW 2018 = GOW 2 > GOW 1 > GOW 3

That's a year old article. Yup. They've had that for a while though. I got a partial refund for Dangerous Driving last year without even asking for it because the game went on sale I'm not sure which games are applicable for it though but I guess it's for games which you buy at full price just before a sale starts.

I'd say avoid whatever is avoidable. I don't think I'll go to the barber's for the rest of the year at least

I think there are only 3-4 games which run at native 4k60fps and most of those handful of games don't show up in the best looking games of the generation discussion. And also, XB1X is a mid-gen refresh console. I don't think it will have anywhere close to the level of graphical fidelity shown in that UE5 demo. Not taking anything away from it though. It's still awesome that it can run at native 4k60fps and I'm sure it will be a very good looking game. If first party games target native 4k60fps, I wouldn't expect them to look like the UE5 demo. Forza Motorsport, being a closed circuit racing game, will probably come close but that's about it. Also, Sony's first party games have almost always been 30fps and I don't think that is going to change next gen. Maybe we will get an option for unlocked framerates (hovering in the 40s and 50s) at lower resolutions like in God of War. Again, I'd love to be proved wrong on all of this. I'm no expert and I'm just going by whatever has been seen so far

Yeah, 4K60FPS on new AAA games will probably remain a pipe dream for majority of PC gamers as well and not just console gamers. Maybe future remasters of current gen games will run at 4K60. But I doubt even that will happen. Yeah, I honestly prefer that with a higher framerate than native 4K. GOW didn't run at 60FPS on 1080p either. Just saying Agree with your point though.

I've paused downloads quite a few times and I don't think I ever ran into that issue. Still, even if it does end up happening, it shouldn't be much of a problem because I have a virtually unlimited data connection But yeah, others with a limited data connection should probably be cautious.

Yeah, I was talking about next gen games in general and not specifically about UE5. I'm sure there will be other games next gen that match that level of quality or at least come very close to matching it. But I doubt any of them will run at native 4K on consoles.

I doubt we will be seeing many next gen games with that level of detail running at native 4K on either console. Would love to be proved wrong though.

That's normal from my experience. You have to always resume the download from your library if you switch off your PC. But yeah, I thought you must've missed the fact that the total size gets reduced. If you had to re-download the whole thing then that must've been a glitch (an annoying one for sure).

I think I need to take some time out to make a list of my backlog games. Maybe then I'll actually put in some effort to clear out my backlog instead of buying new games all the time.

Are you sure about that? EGS has a weird download resuming system wherein the download seems like it's starting over from the beginning but when you look at the total download size, it will have decreased. I downloaded about 23GB of GTA5 last night, switched off my PC and then resumed the download now. As you can see, even though the download shows only 4GB downloaded, the total size is now only 70.9GB. The prices seem to be the same to me.

Why are people surprised that it plays like AC? I thought it was obvious right from the beginning that this was going to be Sony's Assassin's Creed. Anyway, loved what I saw and will be getting it day one! Can't wait to get lost in that lush and beautiful world Also, that photo mode looks so good. I can see myself spamming the sh*t out of the photo mode button.
