  1. Looks so f**king good! The sets, the lighting, and the shadows definitely make it look like it was meant for black and white. Gonna give it a watch in B&W.
  2. Yeah, never watched that 2011 movie. Seemed pretty generic from the trailers. Was it any good?
  3. Done with Stranger Things 4 Vol. 2. Starts off slow and takes some time to rebuild the momentum, but it ultimately crescendos into an epic f**king climax! Probably my favourite season so far. Excited to see what the next one looks like.
  4. Stumbled upon this awesome poster on r/movieposterporn and was reminded of how much I loved this movie as a kid. Such a shame they don't make movies like this anymore. And of course, this scene still manages to give me chills. I guess it's time for a rewatch.
  5. Watched The Black Phone last night and found it to be strictly okay. Not a whole lot to praise apart from the central performances. Ethan Hawke was great as always, and the kids were really good too. The movie reminded me of Doctor Sleep at times, but is quite inferior and forgettable in comparison. It's still decent enough for a watch, but only if you have nothing better to do.

Was underwhelmed by whatever they had shown previously. But the game looks much better in this trailer. Should be fun.
  7. Crash 4 is awesome! Glad that more people will get to play it now. It felt like I was the only one here playing it back when it launched.
  8. 3 runs is nothing The way the ciphers work is that each one is located in a particular room and each of these rooms has a 'probability of showing up' associated with it. There are some ultra rare rooms which can take even 20+ runs to show up. Of course, you could get lucky as well and they might show up in your very next run I suggest checking out the xenoglyph cipher guides by VideogamersEU on youtube. Watch the videos and try to single out the rooms which have the ciphers that you're missing. Once you've done that, you can speedrun through the levels while only looking for those specific rooms.
  9. The game plays very linearly in the intro which runs for close to 6 hours. The game opens up after that. CDPR probably wanted to lure people with the fancy graphics and cutscenes in the 5hr demo. It's actually in the open-world sections that the game's flaws become more apparent.
  10. The Slugshot trait on the shotgun actually makes it a viable ranged weapon. Don't ignore it if you see it. Nah. Pylon Driver is the reverse. It will feel like sh*t initially, but is actually very effective. So effective, in fact, that it reduces the difficulty of the game by a notch or two I'd say every weapon with the right level of upgraded mods absolutely slaps
  11. No. Prices will remain the same throughout the sale. They stopped doing flash deals a while ago.
  12. You can get them on Amazon. Do note that they only work in Indian region.
  13. Was pleasantly surprised to see this show up in theaters here. Will try to watch it next week. For those unaware, this is directed by Scott Derrickson (Sinister, Doctor Strange) and, of course, stars Ethan Hawke. It also has a pretty neat 85% score on RT right now.
  14. There are lots of continuity errors. No point in trying to make sense of it
  15. Yeah, it will take a while to adjust if you're already used to the default controls. This is pretty much the bumper jumper control scheme from Halo. It frees up your right thumb to focus almost solely on aiming instead of frequently fiddling with the face buttons to jump and dash.
  16. Of course. The sound design in this game is impeccable! Makes the game that much more immersive.
  17. Started playing this a few days ago and just got done with House Beneviento. Playing it this late at night with the lights off sent chills down my spine. And that reveal was quite something Wish this section was longer though. Absolutely loved the sound design and atmosphere.
  18. Just played the demo on Steam and it was f**king awesome! Kicking down doors and then kicking the sh*t out of some junkie fools feels very f**king satisfying because of the OTT physics. Will be keeping an eye out for its release.
