I know I'm in the minority but I actually loved UC4's pacing. I enjoyed the quieter moments as well because I loved the characters, the writing, and the lush locales so much.
The game felt like a proper adventure that takes its time to really soak you in its world. I know it might not work for
somemany and that's OK. I loved it for what it was and I'm already planning to replay it soon. -
Spider-Man: Homecoming Sequel to be Titled Spider-Man: Far From Home
Not sure how I feel about the title right now :\

God of War is not an entirely linear game though.

Getting good reviews this:
Wanted to see this but apparently it's been butchered pretty bad by the censor board.

Don't. Ultra boring SOLO and bad AI ruins it even more. The open world is typical Ubisoft filled with nonsense and side quests are same in every region. Over and over again. Actually even the co-op gets tedious due to massive map filled with nothing but garbage stuff.
The main questline is somewhat okay but stealth mechanics are easily exploitable which kills the fun. The AI is laughable at times.
I'd rather go for Division over Wildlands. While neither is perfect, at least Division SOLO is more fun.
1Seconded. Wildlands is mind-numbingly repetitive.....even in co-op. And yes, even though The Divison is repetitive too, at least its core gameplay is tight, satisfying and a lot more fun.

This is awesome!

Unless you mean side quests having their own story.
Yeah, this is what I meant. Completely optional side-quests with their own stories that have nothing to do with the main story.

Fair enough. What would be your approx idea of a good implementation then?
Story-based side quests for one.
From what I've seen and read, the side-quests seem to be your typical open-world busy work featuring collectibles, outposts and a small set of radiant quests (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong). How quickly this gets old depends on who you ask.
Now I'm personally fine with this. Give me enjoyable gameplay and a fascinating world with some rewarding exploration and I'm good. Heck, I put in 40-50hrs on Mad Max
But wouldn't it be nice to have some story-based side quests to give some context to your day-to-day superhero hijinks?

Surprised to see a new trailer but I reckon this is the best one.
Has some minor location and enemy spoilers.

There was actually a Hindi serial very similar to this several years back. Don't remember the name but the chick was hot.

its been mentioned game plays out in 2 timelines and also that ellie is the only playable character.. so one of them has to be a lie..

I think both the timelines they are talking about were the ones shown in the e3 demo. So it is entirely possible for Ellie to be a playable character in both of them.

naah i think thats in the past for one reason only that the clickers are called as demons...

Actually, there's a part during the e3 demo where they hang a guy and then disembowel him, which is the same thing that was about to be done to that wrestler chick.
Even the enemies are wearing the same clothes in both the videos. So I doubt both those scenes are set very far apart.
Anyway, we won't know for sure till we get to play it.

he is talking about that wrestler like chicks timeline..

I think that scene takes place at the same point in time as the gameplay section of the e3 2018 demo.

Wow...I always pictured this as being in third-person. So the first-person perspective comes as a surprise.
It's not gonna put me off the game but I would have preferred it being third-person :\

Yeah, the art direction seems pretty bland from what we've seen so far. But the combat looks absolutely delicious and the animations look lovely.
I'm still really looking forward to it.

Wouldn't be sure about that. Activision is the publisher and for the first time, they are not releasing Call of Duty on Steam.
They are moving to Battle.net
I was initially kinda worried about that too. But the trailer itself has the steam logo at the end. Rejoice!!

You guys should really watch some Samurai Champloo to get in the groove. If you don't have the time to invest in watching an anime series then checkout Sword of the Stranger. Both are epic and please oh please only watch them with Japanese VO.
2+1 for Samurai Champloo and Sword of the Stranger.
They're both frigging fantastic!
