Gonna start this in a day or two. Any tips or shall I go in blind? I have poor history with hard games

Two things that helped me massively in combat:

    1. Remapping the controls so that Jump is on L1, Dash on R1, and Consumables on O.

    2. Enabling 'Always Sprint' in the gameplay settings. The slight downside to this is that it can make platforming feel a little tricky initially, but you'll get the hang of it after a while.

Doing challenge rooms (rooms with a gold star IIRC) and avenging dead scouts can reward you nicely but can also easily f**k up your run. So only do them after you've explored every other room in a biome.

Skip them if you're not in a good position or if you're not feeling too confident.

And lastly, don't worry too much about dying, losing progress, and having to start over. Repeating the same levels multiple times is very much a part of the game. So embrace it and have fun with it.

In the leaderboard I do not see Returnal veterans @STICK3Rboy @Vamos @Heaven Angel which was weird..

Stopped playing after I got all the trophies in the DLC which took only around 10 runs.

The farthest I managed to go was Room 20 in Phase 4. Couldn't manage to defeat Algos there because the preceding rooms were pretty f**king difficult.

Added you on PSN. Maybe now I'll at least appear in the friendly leaderboard

The season pass generally goes on sale when near to one of the DLC release :giggle:

    I think it's already on a 20% off sale.

Say what you will but the biopics casting and transformation in hollywood movies is so on point. It becomes really hard to imagine anyone else playing the role.

Yup. The movie itself looks so good too. The cinematography is on point.

Also it's directed by Andrew Dominik, the guy who made The Assassination of Jesse James, which was an awesome film.

So yeah, looking forward to this.

Done till owl, this game is much more difficult than nioh 1.

I feel Nioh 2 is quite a bit easier thanks to the burst counter mechanic.

But then again, I've only played Nioh 1 for a few hours. So not sure how much my opinion matters.

I felt the visuals and colors on the new gameplay trailer quite underwhelmed and washed away compared to the Original reveal.. It was also probably running at Fidelity mode

Yeah, looking at this and Starfield had me questioning if something was wrong with my monitor

It felt like there was too much post-processing going on making it look blurry too.

I mean just look at this.

The screenshots posted by Heaven look so much better though.

Interstellar is one of my favourite movies ever and I'm a big sucker for space exploration games but the art style here is drab and dull with lots of brown's and grey like it's a relic of a ue3 from ps360 era. Similar themed games like mass effect or even the outer worlds have much more interesting look to them.

Also just fyi artstyle =/= visuals

    Yeah, felt the same.

It looks similar to Fallout 3's art-style, which I wasn't a fan of. FO4's style looked better and much more appealing to me.

Anyway, there were a couple of snippets of other planets that looked a little better. So maybe not the entire game will look like this.

  9. Hot Wheels Returns to Forza in the First, Eagerly Awaited Expansion to Forza Horizon 5

    Quote

    Hi, Horizon Hot Wheels Park

The new Horizon Hot Wheels Park has some of the fastest, most extreme tracks ever in a Horizon game, including more than 200 kilometres (that’s around 125 miles for our non-metric friends) of twisting, looping iconic orange track. Explore a sprawling Hot Wheels open world with new driving experiences such as gravity defying magnet tracks as well as ice, water flume, and rumble tracks.

We’ve also added four new biomes, including the rugged Giant’s Canyon; the Ice Cauldron where frozen tundra drips into the glistening molten lava; Forest Falls which takes you high above the tree canopy and over epic waterfalls, and finally, the visually stunning Horizon Nexus, where the Horizon Festival is suspended among a web of Hot Wheels tracks.

    Become a Hot Wheels Legend

Players can complete missions to unlock special Hot Wheels Heats events and celebrate the history of Hot Wheels in a new five-part Horizon Story. Along your journey to becoming a Hot Wheels Legend, look out for new Accolades, Bonus Boards, Floating Piñata collectibles, PR Stunts and new Hot Wheels Seasonal Events which contribute to your overall Festival Playlist completion.

And, in a first for Forza, join friends and play the entire expansion from the very beginning in co-op. You can also compete and take on the world in Horizon Open, or team up and race a team of Drivatars in Horizon Tour. Free Fast Travel is also immediately unlocked for all players at the Horizon Hot Wheels Park, allowing you to quickly reach your friends no matter where they are located on the map.

Dream It, Build It, Share It

We’re also so excited to see what players dream up in EventLab, where you’ll have the freedom to design, build, and share using the new Hot Wheels Creation Kit.

We’ve added over 80 new track and stunt pieces that instantly snap together thanks to new improvements to the EventLab toolset. New props included within the Hot Wheels Creation Kit can be easily attached to each other with a button push when using the Blueprint Builder.

Once you’ve built your dream Hot Wheels creation, make sure to share it for the entire community to discover and play. We can’t wait to see what you bring to life!

    Those Cars, Though…

We couldn’t bring you a new Hot Wheels adventure without new cars. We’re excited to expand the Forza Horizon 5 fleet with 10 incredible new to Forza cars, including four new Hot Wheels scaled up to life size.

One of my personal faves is the 2018 Chevrolet Hot Wheels COPO Camaro, which is inspired by the first ever Hot Wheels Custom Camaro from 1968.

    The Details

If you’re new to Forza Horizon 5, once you complete the main game’s initial experience (aka the first 15 minutes of the game) the Horizon Hot Wheels Park is unlocked and accessed from the main menu for all expansion owners.

Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels is included in the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-ons Bundle, Premium Edition, and Expansions Bundle – and will be available for standalone purchase at $19.99 USD.

If you’re an Xbox Game Pass member (including Xbox Game Pass Ultimate), the Forza Horizon 5 Premium Add-ons Bundle is the best value, as it upgrades to the Premium Edition of the game and allows you to jump into Forza Horizon 5: Hot Wheels, while also providing the benefits of VIP, Car Pass, the Welcome Pack and the second expansion once it becomes available. You can get the Premium Add-ons Bundle from now through June 24 at 20% off on the Microsoft Store.

Ok, no idea why this game was hyped like it was.

Because it's being made by Arkane.

I agree it doesn't look too hot right now. But most of everything they've put out so far has been really good. So I'm still willing to give them a chance.
