The sword of night and flame - One of the most OP weapons in the game. Can be found in Caria Manor Darkmoon Greatsword - Nice weapon but you'll have to progress through Ranni's lengthy questline which spans multiple locations Black Knife Tiche summon - Again, one of the best summons in the game. Defeat the evergaol boss Alecto to get it. Jellyfish Shield - 100% physical damage negation with an ash of war that gives a nice damage buff. Looks quite pretty too. Can be found just lying around amid a group of jellyfish in the west of Liurnia. Village of the Albinaurics in the south and Ruin Strewn Precipice in the north are other interesting locations. There are some interesting questlines too. But you'll have to google those Not really. Once you learn their moves, you can get pretty comfortable at fighting them on foot. Fighting them entirely on horseback can get boring. There are some really awesome dragon boss fights later in the game.

Nice! Loved the first one.

Make sure the sticks on the controller aren't drifting and that the triggers aren't loose. You'll anyway be able to get a replacement if it's only one month old. But still

Psychonauts 2 Death's Door Can't go wrong with either one. Both are must-play games IMO.

Don't really notice much of a difference TBH But I'll take your word for it. Maybe the difference would've been more apparent to me if I had played the original. Yeah. Excluding the time I've left the game on idle and also the time I've spent on photo mode, I guess it must've taken me 22-24 hours to beat. And quite a bit of this was just re-runs through entire levels and grinding for upgrade items and consumables. IIRC even BB took me the same amount of time, but this game doesn't really feel very meaty in comparison. Some levels end so quickly that they give off a "proof of concept" vibe. I guess the fact that I jumped onto this right after ER had something to do with that feeling too. Of course, there seems to be some stuff that I've missed because of the world tendency shenanigans. But I don't really feel the need to do it right now.

Completed the game. It's probably the weakest of the FS souls-likes I've played so far owing to the mostly simplistic level design and bosses. And that's understandable because this is the first one. Still a really good game which I enjoyed a lot. Boletaria Palace and Latria were exceptional and were definitely the best parts of the game for me. And of course, Bluepoint has knocked it out of the park with the audiovisual experience and atmosphere. Not sure if I would have liked the game as much had I picked up the original now.

So cool! -
Really looking forward to this.

I actually like that they're making a prequel, but mainly because it's being directed by the same guy. There's a dearth of good slashers and I really wouldn't mind getting another one. Also, the time period it's set in (1919 apparently) should keep things a little fresh.
-
I liked it. Pop Squad is probably my favourite short in the entire series.

I also read that they've already finished filming a prequel with her. Looking forward to that. Apparently its teaser was shown after the credits in theaters.

X is such a fantastic film! It's a slasher that I'd heard really good things about, but it turned out to be even better than I was expecting with some seriously good direction. There's some grisly and repulsive sh*t in here, but also stuff that is just plain....sad. It succeeds in making you feel uncomfortable almost the whole time while also masterfully building tension. I haven't seen many movies this year, but I'm sure this will end up being one of the best. Will recommend it highly and will surely be checking out the director's other stuff as well.
-
Well, it's an Eggers movie. So it's bound to be pretty niche. Watch the sequel Doctor Sleep as well. Its climax kinda sucked but I thought it was really good otherwise. Go for the director's cut, which I read is a little better than the theatrical one. ----------- Also, pleasantly surprised by the Love & Thunder trailer. Was expecting it to be Ragnarok 2.0 (which I would've been fine with too), but this looks pretty different as far as the tone is concerned. Although I'm sure there's a lot of the usual Waititi zaniness in there too.

Weird. I played it with the SX controller wirelessly.

Teaser's out.

I would think 6 qualifies for "5 or so". But I guess Bollywood has always been mostly trash with a few good to great movies here and there. And that is pretty much how it is now as well. It's just the nostalgia goggles that make it look like it was in a better state previously.
-
He said 5 or so years. So I'll scratch out the ones that came out in 2014-15. Andhadhun - 2018 Tumbbad - 2018 Ugly - 2014 Udta Punjab - 2016 A Death in the Gunj - 2016 Piku - 2015 Haider - 2014 Dangal - 2016 Gully Boy - 2019 Badlapur -2015 And he said he can't name even one, so there's still six off the top of my head
-
I don't watch Bollywood movies a whole lot, but I could come up with these just off the top of my head. Andhadhun Tumbbad Ugly Udta Punjab A Death in the Gunj Piku Haider Dangal Gully Boy Badlapur I've heard Masaan, Pink, and Sardar Udham are really good too. Have been meaning to watch them for quite a while but haven't gotten around to it yet.

I'm guessing you haven't played the DS remake yet? Compared to BB there's a huge generational difference in the graphics, and the game is all the better for it too. BB looks beautiful artistically (definitely one of FromSoft's best work there) but it was a mixed bag from a technical standpoint even back when it came out. It really doesn't. Far from it in fact. Maybe you've just gotten used to it after playing it for so and so hours, but the game is infamous for its shitty frame pacing. Not to mention how the image quality is ruined by the horrible aliasing. Yes, the above mentioned issues can be fixed with a remaster, but I'd rather they just go all out with a remake at this point after looking at how amazing DS looks.

Looks like Cronenberg is going back to his body-horror roots.

No word on a release date for India yet though :| I guess it depends on the budget. Judging solely by how many movies A24 has been pumping out, low-budget indies still seem to have a decent market there. But if they do go completely OTT, it will probably be better for us as these movies don't make it to Indian theaters half the time anyway. And even when they do make it, they're censored in some way or another.
