I still like and prefer FH3. Overall that game was much better.

That's good to hear. I guess it was a good thing I played 4 before 3.

While QoL, performance and improved MP (though neither MP were stable) is nice change in FH4.

I remember reading that FH3's performance on PC was pretty bad at launch. Either that has been fixed or my PC is just brute-forcing it because I'm getting flawless 4K60 maxed out

  2. I've just started playing FH3 and even that looks f**king amazing! I think it looks just as good as FH4 (barring the quite noticeable pop-in). And the Australian setting is a very refreshing change.

Feels really good to be playing a "new" Horizon game

Why dont you start a insta or a twitter page to showcase your magnificent pictures like much or Sunhilegend do with their gifs?

I am sure the devs themselves would appreciate these.

    Fabulous pics.

Already have an insta page where I post this stuff. It's not easy to get noticed by the devs though :P. It will probably take more time and effort.

Same here. I gave up halfway through the DLCs. Completed the first chapter, and started the second and played a bit . Didn't even bother with the third.

The second one is the worst of the lot. The third is slightly better, but still not really worth your time.

  5. I'm really enjoying this though. Didn't think I would after pretty much forcing myself to finish the absolutely mediocre DLC from the first game.

Combat is much more fun (and more spectacular) thanks to the venom moves. I hope they give Peter some really cool moves in the sequel because if given the choice, I'd definitely play the whole game as Miles just because of his venom moves.

I'm loving the app side missions as well. They're so much better at making you "feel like a superhero" (:P) than those random crimes.

And of course, the photo mode is

Also try the new Grid then, similar handling to Dirt 5 but on tarmac.

This. I dunno how different the new Grid is, but, the original Grid Autosport was a hoot. One of THE BEST for tarmac racing. It wasn't all out Arcady nor full sim. Struck just the right balance. And the sound design. oh man.

I absolutely loved the original GRID but just couldn't get into the new one for some reason. Gave it a couple of chances but got bored after a few races. Loved Dirt5 though.

On switch it runs at 30fps with downgraded graphics.

on ps4 it runs at 30fps

and on ps5 it runs at 60fps and better resolution and also has a quality mode for better graphics at 30fps

    go for the ps5 version.

Yeah, and I'm guessing the switch and PS4 versions don't have the absolutely incredible draw-distance either.

Any recommended settings to get the game to run @ 60fps on a 2070 super rig with RTX on? Or is it gonna be trial and error?

Not exactly what you're looking for, but this might be of help. It shows the difference between each of the settings and how much each affects performance.
