    The longest recorded piece of music is by a noise band called Bull of Heaven, "The Chosen Priest and Apostle of Infinite Space." It's more than 2 months long. :devil: They also have other works that are multiple weeks long.:sign_omg:http://bullofheaven.com

     

     

    Rock band The Dragon Cult are known for their extended studio recordings, including Black Ghost Train (38:05) on their debut album, and for their marathon trio improvisation jam sessions at live performances.

     

    Dream Theater also has a song that is 42:04 called Six Degrees of Inner Turbulence. They re also known for long studio recordings.

     

    Keith Jarret has very long songs, like the Vienna Concert, which can be 45 minutes long.

     

    there is a band called green carnation and they have an album called "Light of Day, Day of Darkness" that consist of just one song and it clocks at 60:06 (1H and 06sec).

     

    also dream theater's "six degrees of inner Turbulence" album consist of 2 disk. the second disk is realy one song that clocks at 42:04 but it is brocken into 8 tracks. so longest solid dream theater song is "octavarium(2005) - 08. octavarium (23:59)". some Pink Floyd Songs are long :

    But there is another new band (progressive blues rock shredding) currently known as S&S Co. they have a song with no official name yet that is 39 minutes and 24 seconds. "One of those few bands that makes it up there with the classics such as Hendrix, Zeppelin, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Pink Floyd, and all": Rolling Stone Magazine. Not too many people know about this so that's why I'm sharing this with you.

    also the song created by the band "SLEEP" made a song called DOPESMOKER WHICH IS 1 HOUR 3 MINUTES LONG

    Alright does anyone here listen to Jazz? I know Jazz is a very wide term and everything but what would you recommend if someone wants to get into the genre?

    Listen to Billie Holiday,Annete Hanshaw,the ink spots,Bessie smith and ruth etting

    Aim of the Suggestion:To prevent scammers/spammers and other people to make an alternative acc thereby getting rid of the negative feedback given to them

     

    Suggestion:Make a new section in profile called 'shipping address' filling this section is mandatory for all accounts who want to access the TP.This address will be tied to the TP account and cannot be deleted however if someone is shifting it can go to 'Former address' section on request by mods.Further more another section called 'Alternative shipping address can also be made.

     

    Effect:Since there arent many people having multiple properties,shipping address for the most part remains one.So you cannot make alternative ID's with the same shipping address and it prevents a TP scam.

     

    So.....How about it? :thumbsup:

    Bicentennial Man is one of the robot collections. Read two novels which are not part of any series as such but better than most - The Gods Themselves and End of Eternity.

     

    Both of them were excellent,and the moral behind 'The gods themselves was pretty acurate :wOOtjumpy:

     

    He even in someways connected the end of eternity to the foundation-But he did write in the 'Note to reader' that they were different storys. :wOOtjumpy:
