    In the meantime, you can share your experience with us... go on, tell us where to find the good stuff.

    Nearly All of em have it.But if you wanna start with a good one Read The robot series which starts with 'The caves of steel' to 'The world of dawn' (3 books in total)

    Then read Prelude to the foundation-The Foundation-Foundation and empire-Second foundation-Foundations edge-Foundation and earth and then finnaly Forward the foundation

     

    (Forward the foundation is actually a prequel to the foundation series and a sequel to Prelude to the foundation but I find that forward the foundation contains very minor spoilers in it)

     

    [The reasing is quite heavy in terms of knowledge and content but its is EPIC]

    Asimov is pretty much God - I love his short stories and his Foundation / Robot stories. He screwed up the Foundation series after the first four in an attempt to tie up everything.

     

    Nightfall still remains one of the best SF stories I've ever read.

     

    The book couldnt have met a satisfying ending though,he had made it to large in subject. And he didnt live long enough to make one up after the last one (in chronological order) I read somewhere that he wanted to make another one.

     

    It was pretty cool of him to introduce R.Daneel in the end,specially more so for me because I had read it in a proper order (Robot series-foundation prequels-Foundation Trilogy-and the last two books)

     

    Although I agree with you Nightfall was simply amazing

     

    (It sucks though that quite a large proportion of his books arent available here :gunsmilie:)

    YA don't listen to these n00bs who wouldn't even recognize Arthur C. Clarke if they were put into Geo-synchronous orbit above his house :boxing:

    Talking about him I need to read some of his books.

    P.S:I have lapped up all of Asimovs books (The foundation series is amazing) need something similar I hear Clarke his good.

    Yeah well he's not getting anywhere with that look.that wikipedia article would testify he has been

    ^That statement could have been valid if you ahd looked at him and said it somewhere around october 1919 :doh:

     

    He doesnt exist now (met his demise 6th april 1992) and as the wikipedia article would testify he has been very succsesfull

    He doesn't look very scientific to me. :doh:

    He does look fictional though, only a fictional person could wear those shades.

    He is a real authour and considered one of the best authours in science fiction Here

     

    Anyone knows him? He was darn famous in the 90s

    I am glad you liked it Backfield is actually a colaboration between The porcupineis tree's lead singer and some other guy. :P Their whole album is flawless.

    Anyone listens to Darkwave music (its a genre) the whole Genre is EPIC.

    I was going to post but was beaten to it

     

    No offence to the OP but I dont see the point of having one song per day especially since great tunes are missed out simply because people are unable to log in at 12 each day.I vote for a change of policy or a new thread.

    Guys I'm in the market rite now and will buy a phone before leaving for home.....

     

    I was about to buy blackberry 8900 Javelin but since it doesnt have 3G its out of the picture.....

     

    so help me out here, my requirements

     

    1. 3G support

    2. Push Email

    3. Net on the GO

    4. Good screen, pref non slider

    5. Don't like Samsung & LG phones

    6. Budget - max 25k

    Just saw Jennifers body,theonly good thing about the movie is 1.Megan Fox (obviously :P) and 2.It potrays highschool beeches very,very well otherwise its just a goosebumps story and the story seems pretty incomplete.

     

    Not really worth the time :fear:

     

    Has anyone seen Superbad?

     

    also I saw discussions related to a mass effect movie some pages back,How about Megan Fox for Miranda? (not ashley,I dont know what bioware people were thinking when they made Ashley,although Kelly is real sexy :cheers: )
