    Am I the only one who doesnt care? :unsure: jeez people cricket matches are so effing common these days,its irritating when my driver listen to matches on the radio,when I want to hear songs

    everyone is literally hypnotized with cricket everywhere,i bet if god forbid India loses today our own people are going to get in a violent rampage and start destroying properties,I just hope the cricketers have had the sense to have their families go to some other country thats all.

    GPRS doesnt seem to get activated on my DHD,im using vodafone :(

    is there any app which sets it for you? I know nokia phones came with one.

     

    on an unrelated topic,I think its a good idea to make guides on how to root your phone and install custom ROM to help noobs out there obviously the instructions vary from phone to phone,so different members will have to contribute :P

    Just flashed a new radio on my DHD running cyanogenmod 7 rc1 :dance:

    if anyone having a DHD needs help,ill point you out in the right direction :)

    Also found decent substitutes to HTC Sense,like fancy widgets and syncing my fb contats without installing apps

    Finally flashed to CM7 RC1 :dance:,the flashing process was weird though because after ROM manager when I clicked "ok" when it says rebooting into clockwork mode to complete flashing,it didnt automatically start installing-I was taken to clockwork mod menu :scratchchin: then since it was my first time flashing

    Anyway CM7 RC1 is great and way better than the stock,it looks better,and functions better too!

     

    one caveat though,I lost all my contacts and sms after wiping,I expected that to happen but I thought all my contacts were backed up with google,but they arent syncing so lost all my contacts :wallbash:

    Try using Handcent, it's supposed to be much better than the stock SMS app.

     

    Anyone here shifted to CM7? I keep planning to do it, but it never happens. Hopefully tomorrow I finally manage to shift over. :P

    Me,I plan to shift but a lot of things arent clear to me,like the fact that will I lose my facebook contact sync? or will I lose all my contacts?

    I dont even know if the steps above are right :(

    I assume your exam doesn't go all day. Take her out somewhere - anywhere really - hang out (Maybe Qutb Minar?), take along a board game, climb one of the monuments (which from memory, you can do), and challenge each other. If you can take along some wine and cheese, or if not, grab some street-stall food and take it with you.

    I would love to do that

     

    Had I not had an exam the very next day too,moreover we are in school and I live in gurgaon,so yeah transportation is a problem

    It's Valentine season, I would like to know what everyone is planning to do on that day.. What are you gifting to your valentine or what's the 'new' plan.. Also you may share and ask some great Valentine day story..

    • didnt post in mobile phone thread due to all the symbian hatred.so symbian haters stay away.
    • i went for n8 after a lot of research.android phones have lot of hardware drawbacks,especially poor battery backup and average or below average camera. :nono:
    • symbian is slow and what not,but it caters to my needs.to each his own.i loved the N8 above htc desires and SGSs and nexuses..lol. :D
       
    • also didnt post the picture as i dont think anyone is least interested in symbian due to all the android brainwashing done here on ivg. :fear::scarerun:
