    Figured out the code. It was literally a code

    I had actually gotten my gift on 24th but I forgot to post the pictures, more like anxiety but let's move on from that.

     

    I didn't post my gifts the day I got them because I thought there might be another package due to the numbering but there wasn't and I could not decode the code. So I am sorry SS but I have no idea who you are.

    I actually did start reading the book on my kindle like 7 months ago and never finished it. Having a physical copy is AMAZING, I love having a full bookshelf and adding more books to my massive collection of books I have read. A R Rahman is one of the most inspiring people and I love his work so so much. Thank you so much.

    Some yummy cashew cake. It looked good, it tasted good I only had a little bit. Leaving it in my diabetic father's office when my sweet toothed mother was also around was a mistake. I sadly didn't have much of it, but from what I hear the cashew cake was great! I wish I found out for myself :P

    This one caught me off guard. How did you know dog. HOW DID YOU KNOW! I haven't watched this movie solely because I was waiting for a new theater system in our new house. I have been so hyped for this movie and I have only seen 1 trailer and that's it. HDR Blu Ray? Oh good lawd, looks like I need to hurry up my new Home Theater system so that I can watch this baby! But how did you know? I am absolutely astounded, I don't think I have ever talked about this online. Thanks man. How did you know ?

    It was a code for Civ VI Rise and Fall. I already own that game so if there are any Civ6 fans in the forum who don't have Rise and Fall, I can send the code over to them! Please Santa reveal youself :(

    Thats because its the start of the game.

     

    In 4 kids gets sodomized by odin leading to daadhi waala Kratos molesting Loki and Thor as revenge leading to an even bigger event which culminates in a massive orgy between all of them but the kid isn't invited because that's paedophilia. Thats when the rage comes in, the kid bundles in all his frustration for being left out and proceeds to kill everyone in the most brutal manner ever.

    KC, did he discuss the timeline and stuff ? If its still Kratos how does this fit in ? I thought this would be a new ark.

    Norse mythology, I am surprised many people didn't pick up on that.

     

    But good to see they are taking a new turn to the franchise and not milking it to death with some Kratos spin-off/resurrection BS.

    Its a Lenovo Y50 , 8GB Ram, GTX 860m, i5 4200H@2.8 GHz

     

    EDIT: Already finished whole game on PS3, iffy about rebuying it.

    Holy sh*t, the earphones have a total V shaped sound, the mids super recessed, bass and highs are extremely high. Treble can be a bit harsh sometimes.

     

    But these earphones sound extremely fun, electronic music sounds baller in this, the soundstage is ( and cannot be ) nearly as good as the headphones, but I like them.

     

    The have to go around the ear from the top so I don't really like that, but these are good too.

     

    Edit: I spoke too soon, mids are actually pretty good, I only listened to electronic before and the highs overpowered the mids. The highs are still harsh, bass is rather flat but warm. Its not as punchy as I would have liked.

    Got new headphones and earphones courtesy of my brother, happy birthday to me !

     

    Headphones - NVX XPT100 ( Rebranded Brainwavz HM5 )

     

    Incredible incredible pair,very close to perfectly neutral, incredible resolution, highs are the only thing I can complain about, they are really good but they lack that sparkle, bass is neutral.

    ^ The Y50 would be my pick of the three you have mentioned. What do you need it for?

    Game development, so Unity engine and Photoshop. Gaming sometimes .

     

    Any other good models you know in the $800 range. Y50 seems a little expensive.

     

    Edit: Y50 is on the heavier side too.

    Lenovo Y50- i5 2.8 GHz, 8 GB RAM , 860m , 8 GB SSD - 869$

     

    I would like a small but powerful laptop, any advice ? Or any other models you would suggest ?
